Snowy Day from Inside in Vienna, Austria

It seems like we go along unfazed by the cold until one morning we wake up to a blanket of crisp white. Yesterday morning was that morning.

With the frost comes a new season in the garden. I can now begin cleaning out the remnants of summer and start putting the garden to bed. I’m always reluctant to admit that winter is near until I witness the death blow that comes inevitable by surprise some morning.

The weather right now here in the Philippines is chilly, cold, rainy.

I'm even wearing a jacket when I am not the type to wear one.

Don't forget to take your Vitamin C's! :)

The cold is around these days. :P

November 2010 has been a month of weather records in some parts of the United Kingdom. In one location, +20 degrees C was recorded early in the month, and minus 20 degrees C at the end of it. For two consecutive years there has been very cold winter spells, with a lot of snow.

Big problem. My lightroom 1.4 does not support 50D Raw and I'm now left with Canon's DPP. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I've become so used to using lightroom that i'm now struggling to go back to DPP. :( :( :( Plus, DPP doesn't have those funky presets.

This shot was taken before I left HK Disney. Still noisy but definitely more acceptable than my 350d's. :)

It is early morning of the first big snowstorm of the year. A photographer, probably foolish but awed by the wanton beauty everywhere, is up early and walking in it. What a show!

Up bound Ohio river mile 619. 5° F temperature when this was taken at 10:30 AM.
