We woke up this morning 20ºF and with snow
I am still, after 11 1/2 years of living down south, unused to beaches being frigging freezing. It seems unatural to be on the beach in anything more than shorts & togs, let alone boots, parkas, jeans and beanies... maybe in another 11 1/2 years it will seem normal...
Though the sky and sea are blue and it looks like a gorgeous day, the wind was strong and bitterly cold. This must be one of the coldest Easter Holidays in living memory.

Most leaves are now gone from the street trees, just a few are hanging onto them. Crumb is tucked in on his box looking chilly, but is refusing to move. Ginger is in an outside box entirely hidden from sight. Snowy showers are forecast for tomorrow. Messages about Black Friday are flooding my inbox. It is still November but it doesn't feel like it. Christmas is coming!!!
