Temp's were around 40 to 45 Deg F. Drizzling light rain, It was slippery. I put my foot down at a Stop Sign at a crosswalk and slipped on one of the white painted crosswalk stripes . I had to do a fancy double hop with my left foot to catch the bike. It was very slippery.I knew better but wasn't paying attention.
Around 50 Miles were put on today.
Today is Easter Saturday. This morning was bright and sunny, and just after midday we got heavy sudden snow showers! It has been a strange Springtime with all the unseasonally cold weather. At an rate, I wish you and your loved ones a Happy Easter ..and may the "easter bunny" bring you lots of wonderful treats! For those of you who remember the other reason for this day...may the Lords Peace be unto you!

When it comes to redressing my models, I have the most fun and creative enjoyment in blending clothing from different times and fashion lines, or in using vintage clothing on unusual doll makeovers. I will also dig through doll clothes bins at antique shops and flea markets for odd pieces that I can use. And, there are also times when a doll will come right out of the box and all I will do is add a coat or change out the shoes and accessories. As for hair, I don’t like fussing with it! I may be one of the few doll owners who will leave the heavily gelled factory-hair on a doll, if I like the hair do. Occasionally, I will clip or trim existing factory hair or leave it alone if I like the hair color blend otherwise, the factory hair comes off and I create a hard-hair sculpture using various acrylic compounds and then custom paint the hair sculpt to suit the project. Lastly, as for face paint, I will “tweak” the eye color, eye brows and cheek blush as needed otherwise, I will leave the factory face paint. So there you have it, my redressing “manifesto”.

A collection of salvage greens found last evening in my kitchen garden (l-r, t-b). 1) group in the kitchen (big leaves are Richter's sorrel), 2) cilantro and one lonely lettuce (Bronze Arrow=my favorite), 3) arugula/rocket, 4) wild bitter cress (as the experts say, hard to know which variety). . . a TINY plant.
The best wild greens guide, in my opinion, is: L. A. Peterson, "Edible Wild Plants".

February 19th 2017. This is my lake, my favorite place to be, to fish, to think. I've come here since as long as I can remember. Here, I've been fishing with grandpa as a little boy, with dad, mom, with my sisters and my cousin and with my friends, and then with my beloved wife (who now holds the record for pike in the family). So this, for me is as much home as it gets. I look forward to taking my son here too, to teach him to fish just like my grandfather and my father did when I was a little boy. 👨👨👧👦🎣🚤

The late afternoon sky was striking. The strong sunlight hitting the snow added some punch to the scenery, too.

Every once in a while a Crow will show up in my backyard looking for something to eat. I don't know why they keep coming back because they almost always leave disappointed with what they find.
Yesterday, this one scrounged around, nibbled on a pumpkin seed, found a peanut, wandered over to the squirrels Goodie Bowl and even turned up his nose at that. I thought the corn would have been something he might have liked, but he wasn't in the mood for corn.
