Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines prepare to fire a shoulder-launched multipurpose assault weapon during Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-17 Feb. 13 at the Cham Sae Mi Close-Quarters Battle Training Facility in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The SMAW is a shoulder-launched rocket weapon with the primary function of being a portable assault weapon and a secondary anti-armor rocket launcher. From planning to execution, KMEP 15-17 has been a bilateral and collaborative effort between ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces. The ROK Marines are with Company 5, 32nd Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division. I love long exposures, everything to do with night time, the dark, sunrise and sunset.
I like to take pictures mainly at night , sometimes during the day and in dull and fading light and I will sometimes display the time and date the picture was taken too.
I tend to take pictures of Light trails, Motorway traffic, Street lights, Buildings, Landscapes, Bokeh, Night bokeh and Hexagonal Night Bokeh in England.
All of my pictures are 100% natural and untouched in every way without ever been Photo shopped or altered or messed about with in anyway whatsoever, No multi layered photography, No HDR's and No image manipulation of any kind, all of my pictures look just the way they did when I saw them at the time of taking and I'm VERY PROUD of that.
I don't do any photo processing at all, I don't even own any photo software.
All of my starbursts are all 100% natural without using any filters or anything else, as is all my bokeh, night bokeh and hexagonal night bokeh, its all natural, no funny gimmicks at all.
I don't do anything with my pictures apart from take them and then upload them , 99.99999% of my pictures don't even get cropped , they are all 100% natural and untouched and then uploaded.

The "Bomb Cyclone", as they call it, was another memorable event. It was so cold that the snow was not heavy and wet. The winds blew it into drifts, so staying off the roads for a day was the way to go.

A view from my window. That's what we have currently outdoor in Yakutsk. Pretty cold. -46C. Happy Valentine's Day :)
Getting ready to roll the camera rig for the Hallmark Movie of the Week THEN AGAIN.
TOAST Downfilled Snow Skirts saved the day and kept everyone warm.
I finally put my hands on xf16mmf1.4 r wr. This is one of the first pictures I took with it. I decided I'll be shooting mainly with this lens for some time so I can be sure if I want to keep it or not since it's quite expensive. The first thought is that it's staying with me but we'll see how things go in practice :)
11.13.2015: This is some of the outerwear that I use in the winter. The fuzzy stuff comes out when it's not raining but cold. I use the hand/arm warmers all the time. And like using a colorful scarf to offset my mostly black wardrobe. And, of course, it's boot weather so I'm happily wearing those now. I like the colder weather but don't like feeling cold. Bundling up is the best!

Republic of Korea Marine Gunnery Sgt. Kim Dong Jin, a Daegu, ROK, native, demonstrates ways to start a fire to U.S. Marines during Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-4 Feb. 4 at the Pyeongchang Winter Training Facility, Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea. The ROK and U.S. Marines learned different ways to survive in the cold mountainous terrain and also new ways of concealing themselves. Patrols were stepped up despite the weather due to intelligence indicating that several members of a known terrorist outfit are headed north through the Dougga Straits towards Port Serrat. Like other single-use devices — the answering machine, the desktop calculator, the Rolodex — it is being shoved aside by a multipurpose device: the smartphone and its camera, which takes better snapshots with each new model.
