Melt In Love
A very pastel looking sunset, close to Tetova. It was such a random trip to eat something, and have a coffe with some friends, and we just decided to take a short trip to the lake to try some of my new filters that i recently got.
The Sunset was on fire, and all this pastel colors really made me melt in the beauty of the shot, i instantly fell in love with the view. The contrast between the cold snow and the firey sky was really fascinating.
Its one raw files, since i did not need to blend exposure since i was using a soft graduated ND filter of 1 stop, which balanced the image perfectly, and much more than that i did use a 6 stop nd filter to freeze any movement in the water which made a crispy clear reflection of the image, which i really enjoyed

Three years ago me and my photographer friends planned our UK photo safari. Knowing UK is a landscape photographers haven, we opted to shoot a couple of known places, bracing the crazy weather while applying a Filipino touch to make it our own. This was the third leg of our shoot, kicking off from London to Manchester here in Isle of Skye back to Edinburgh and ending it in N. Ireland.
A view of the Glencoe Mountains along the road to highlands. These iced capped mountains made us stop and jump off from our cars to capture these mountain ranges. The combination of overcast clouds and strong winds completed this powerful scenery.

Due to arctic airmass sea smoke creeped to the shores of Helsinki. To me personally cold weather and white snow are the personification of death. Thus the reference to ancient Finnish mythology where otherworld is called Tuonela.
I shouldn't have done this!! After a nice walk - due to the fact our golf was cancelled due to the freezing weather - I came back home along the beach! It was very, very cold down there and after the tide had gone out it left a white line of frozen ice!
Oh, so cold!!

Victorian Picnic, with British summer weather, cold and wet..
Draped in a delicate Victorian dress and a feathered hat, she braves the cold, wet weather, elegance unshaken. A proposal may be waiting beneath her umbrella at the damp picnic.
The lady’s hat exudes Victorian charm, adorned with layered feathers and decorative flowers, embodying sophistication. It’s an iconic accessory reflecting wealth and grace from a bygone era, ideal for both Victorian reenactments and steampunk cosplay.
A detailed close-up of oak leaves and grass still coated with frost and lingering dew at lunchtime. Despite the higher sun, tiny ice crystals and water droplets remain clinging to the blades of grass, sparkling in the clear daylight. Warm brown leaves contrast with cool green grass and icy highlights, capturing the fleeting transition between frost and thaw on a cold winter day.
Morning walk the day after a day of snowing. It's been a (long) while since there was more than 10cm of snow in the area.

The red dawn reflected in the now frozen water of the River Wharfe here in Yorkshire. The cold snap we're having has seen the river water freeze for the first time in some years.
Taken shortly after sunset on 21/12/2010, Normanby Hall set against the early dusk colours and the snow that has lain for almost a month....

This is the (large) parish church of St Lawrence in Hatfield near to Doncaster. Taken on the same day as my previous misty and foggy images, the blue sky added some great colour to the next set of images I took on Sunday 05/02/2012. A 20 minute drive from my last location and a whole new world, no more gloomy weather, just sunshine and snow now for the rest of the afternoon.
This church is in the Diocese of Sheffield and could easily pass as a large city cathedral instead of the small market town parish church that it is.
All my images are processed to look their best on my monitor – they may appear slightly darker/lighter on other screens depending on your display settings.

West Pond, Parsonsfield, Maine.
A few panoramas taken this afternoon of West Pond and our Mackerel Sky, it was bright and sunny today but the temperature never got over 25°F, most of the morning we where in the teens, the cold weather seems to have made a return.
Just a few weeks short of his first birthday, it is my youngest grandchild's turn to pose for the traditional 'stand by the pumpkin' portrait. It was a nasty, drizzly, cold day to go to the orchard for apples and pick a pumpkin, but traditions are traditions. Weston didn't seem to mind at all… he's always up for anything with the family. =)
Hopefully as time goes by, all my grandkids will look through the photos I've been taking over their early years, and ask me questions about them. I love their curiosity, and I have many stories to tell when they're ready to hear them.
