I'm three for three now with this being my 3rd YN2 dash 8 under my belt, literally. Here we have CSX #950 and #7877 parked in Berkeley today.
NS 40N running by Yadkin with a tier 4 leader, had a very friendly crew up front, was also pretty crazy we had two grain trains on the Norfolk sub just in under 15 minutes. Sky is really cool to look at in the shot to, started poring rain only 10 minutes after this shot.
NV07 I believe sits up at Portlock rd. with NS #6110 leading long hood forward also with a NW caboose.
A CSX intermodal sits underneath 164 waiting to go into PIT. Had #885 at the lead with a new DPU sticker. First time catching a CSX train on the Portsmouth, pretty cool.
I've been working on building a spartan cab SD70 in G Scale (1:29). I'm working on an NS loco that is a former CR of the same road number. I have some details to work on yet like the AC on the roof but I wanted to make a test run to see how things look.
NS 825 is prepping for his trip west in Lamberts Point coal pier. Today we have the 1072 leading on the Norfolk sub bound for Auville, WV

NV03 begins to approach canal drive when someone begins to walk down the tracks. The conductor looked like he was trying to ignore him to the best of his albites.
If you're going to come out of the tunnel then you are going to get wet. Luckily, for this trash train, the rain might help keep the smell down.

I grew up very near this mainline scene and to me it will always be "CP Valley" despite the modern name changes.
