NS 814 came in with some EX BNSF Dash 9’s today. They sit by the yard office waiting to be pushed to the dock and be shipped out to Australia I believe.

NS NV03 crosses over to main 1 on liberty street with the NS # 3218 leading long hood forward into portlock.

A huge 234 pulls up to liberty st with 5 engines up front. One of my best shot in my opinion.

NS 23G runs through shell rd with a CN visitor heading down to portlock to work the yard around 11:37.

Well sense I'm stuck in the house i might as well dig through the archives and see what i can post. Ill never forget or stop talking about this trip, First time ever railfanning a line this busy it was such a big experience for me. Im glad i was able to do it with my best friend Charlie; This was my first time ever being able to meet him and we spent the week while i was there just taking pictures of trains. This picture represent are 4th day when we designed to go down to Indiana for a day and railfan. It was such a blast and we got so many trains. Here we have a NS stack train blasting through Cheston, Indiana with a C6M and Dash 9 pulling.

Fisrt duo of fresh ACU's on 687.

Some AC44's sits in the NPBL Berkeley yard on a cool winter afternoon with a fresh a fresh 369 at the time.

In all of my years railfanning the Lurgan Branch I've never managed to catch the local freight, until now. This unit was trailing on the train as it headed West (South).

NS 234 begins to slowly leave Roanoke with a C6M leader passing the D9-44CW dead line waiting there turn for rebuilding. We even have one of few white face dash 9 already in storage numbered 9761.

a CSX train prepare to head north to Portsmouth and back up on the NPBL bridge.

NS 21N pulls up to liberty street outside of portlock yard with UP leader on the front and a very low number Dash 9 as of right now. This train was super freaking long, pulled up all the way to bridge 5 which almost never happens. Pretty sure this is cause of the new partner ship with UP for NIT.

a 700 series hopper trains crawls through JK in front of South yard with NS #4218 leading and a fresh C6M behind it.

With the ports reopening with the strike now being over, NS is low on baretabels to load. NS 7025 makes a special run to NIT with extra baretabels to be loaded at the port in Norfolk, VA

This dash 9 is a trusty locomotive for my on my garden railway and it often leads a massive freight up and down the grade.

NS 815 flying through Shell road with a NS tier 4 leading. NS i34 was sitting down at canal waiting for 815 to pass due to bridge 7 having only one track in service.

NV01 begins to pull up to Portlock Rd with NS #6110 at the lead. Had to wait back at Carolina junction and wait for 29G to head up to Bridge 7.

NV01 I believe pulls up to Portlock rd. and has its engine #6110 sit on the crossing. had a very impatience drive who was honking at the train.

NS 3220 leads a tanker local through NS junction with a nice painted cabooses on the back. First time shooting at Ohio street!!
