CSX power sits in Berkeley yard on the curve with a newly released CW40-9 in YN3 paint. This is my second time seeing a CSX CW40-9 and its a great feeling seeing a era you missed and having a second chances of seeing it.
The beltline makes a run to Portlock for some 3 bays and leaves with style as NPBL 5260 leads the charge.
A empty coal train sits at Llewellyn Ave in downtown Norfolk waiting for Amtrak to clear.
Just got done with the rock gym right beside the track and designed it couldn't hurt to see if anything was coming and lone and behold a C6m and a AC gevo were siting there waiting for me. Always fun being able to shot Lamberts point.

L246-20 sits idle in the CWRY yard waiting for its crew in the cold foggy morning. Of course the selling feature being the Western Maryland heritage unit was on point and was scheduled to lead out onto I135, however my car had overheated in this cold weather and had to call my adventure short.
Heading up the Lugran branch on a cold morning the PRR heritage unit leads a regular black NS loco and a clean BNSF unit.
Via a train show I was able to add a few more pieces to my G Scale 1:32 Norfolk Southern Office Car Special train.
NV22 makes its run to Lamberts point with NPBL 5261 in tow and clear bridge 5 and pass harbor park with NS #3218 in the lead.
NS 275 leads the way onto Bridge 7 with NS 4647 leading the way to portlock yard with a newly acquired AC44CW from CEFX trailing behind. Seen here passing the Gilmerton Bridge in Chesapeake, Virginia.
CSX M300-29 crawls out of Doswell, Virginia on national train day. Railfans gather here at Doswell to catch CSX and Amtrak trains on the old RF&P line. Many people united today at Ashland to celebrate the occasion.
NS 4101 flys past with a coal train for Lambert’s point at portlock. Wasn’t expecting this guy, I was walking to my spot and turn around and saw headlight right in front of me and I Quickly turn on my camera and got this picture
