I caught sweet Chef Corrado mid-blink. Ooops. Here he is helping prepare/serve the soft tacos with Sommelier/Maitre d'/Manager Sarah Lyons at the Amuse-Bouche/C5/Blue Haven Farm booth.
Main course: mixed paella with chicken, shellfish, prawns: Chef Doug Todd created a fabulous feast for 20 supporters of Bellview Elementary School in Ashland. Ron Rezek and Janet Eastman hosted at their home. Troy Brown and Heather Goodwin arranged the event and decorated.
Tony Domingue has been appointed new executive sous chef for Houston First facilities. This is Tony's second go-round with us; he started his previous stint the day the GRB was opened as a shelter for Hurricane Katrina refugees in 2005. Tony succeeds Dominic Soucie, who is now the executive chef at Minute Maid Park.
So cute, this "Danger Men Drinking" sign. But I do find the one at Acadia super cute/funny because there's the addition of "and a woman" to the "Danger Men Working" sign. Check it out, it's in the kitchen above the open kitchen's hood.
It's always nice to see the cookbook/resource collection that chefs refer to (kind of a compare and contrast). :)

Carol Kidd and guitarist Nigel Clark entertain as guests enjoy a banquet prepared by Chef, Chew Kian Seng, to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Our best meal of the trip was a sushi dinner prepared by this man, Chef Yasuda. Unbeknownst to me, he is quite famous in the culinary world. He taught us that "Sushi is rice" and believes that it is more important than even the fish. His rice was delicious.

Suffolk Community College Culinary Arts Center had a cooking demonstration and tasting on March 11, 2009 with two Chefs from Season 5's TV show Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey.
Chef Robert Hesse and Chef Seth Levine did a great presentation and the food samples were awesome!
