Angler Eddie Weber caught a 24.5" Chain Pickerel in the Severn River on 1/17/2021

taken over 20 years ago on board a lightship moored at St Catherine's Dock [near Tower Bridge], on colour transparency film using a manual SLR - and subsequently scanned to obtain a digital image

Made this key chain today. A small gift for my cousin.

Tammy looking cute again. In her pre-chains pose. Unfortunately one side effect of sexy orangeness (or indeed orange sexiness) would appear to be itchy shoulders.

Photo of the arch from the parking area at the base of the Gateway Arch

This picture was taken below the arch from the waterfront parking area. It added some architectural elements with the brick parking area and the barge chains on the ground. There was no eliminating the lights, so I worked to make sure they didn’t overshadow the rest of the photo.

It's unfortunate there was a double image on the sign

Sculpture outside the BUPA Building (with an adjoining frieze with meanders) by Peter Randall-Page. It reminds me of a fly embryo - in a good way. The relative polishing of the top suggests that many people use it as a bench.

This is the matching bracelet to the necklace. I just liked this picture out of all of the ones I took. Not to mention that I really like the matrix on these ovals. More brown than black, it automatically combines two of the best colors out there.

Downspout chain on my shop

This could be good news or bad news. Within days of my original post reporting the plight of this poor dog in South Haven, Michigan, I received a few emails from people involved with various animal protection agencies. I spoke at length with one woman from Dogs Deserve Better and she and I came up with a plan to help this dog. Two days after our conversation, I learned that the dog was gone. Our plan could not have been carried out that quickly so I’m wondering what really happened to that dog. His doghouse is gone and so are his owners. My in-laws have not seen their car in a couple of weeks now. There has been no sign of the dog, either. Could the owners have caught wind of our disapproval and brought the dog inside? Doubtful. Could the owners have picked up and moved somewhere else? Probably, since they were living in a rental property. Could the dog be living somewhere else with them now, still chained up outside? Yes, and that’s what makes me sad. Sure, my family and I do not have to see the dog chained up outside anymore but that doesn’t mean I still don’t think about him and wonder if he’s safe and warm and fed.

I recently installed these adorable chain pulls on my ceiling fan. I found them at Lowe's awhile ago.
