One of my favorite things is going through lightroom and looking at my before/after shots. I'm really happy with the processing on this one.
Rare is it that I ever see this type of evening sky in Northeast Wisconsin. But one evening in the winter I happened to get lucky and catch this before the sun went too far down.
One of the original ornaments from the ground floor ceiling of our new house. They couldn't be saved, so our constructor framed it. Nice (and big) gesture.
In to the hospital today for a 6 month checkup, lying on the gurney waiting for the doctor, and looking at the ceiling light. This image is colour corrected, although still not neutral; the original digital capture was very green.
This 7 parts painted mirror ceiling is abstract painted mirror made from each one mirror at measure 4mm*60cm*95cm . First the mirror is sandblasted, cleaned very good and after it is painted with cold paint glass.It will live for a long time.Include a thicker Plexiglas 4mm. I shot this for the woodworking contractor who did the ceiling and wood paneling. The point of view was chosen to emphasize the ceiling. We chose not to turn on the wall sconces, as they just added a distracting glow and color cast. I wish I had the 24 TS for this, but I didn't so I shot with my 16-35 and use perspective correction in PS.
I monolight in each front corner of the room, bounced into corner ceiling. 2nd exposure for window blended in. 2nd exposure for lamp glow blended in. 2nd exposure for corridor light on right to match color temperature blended in.
We chose the props in the right corner from things available in the house.
This charming home features plenty of architectural elements that give it striking curb appeal. Columns accent the front porch, while a series of windows usher light throughout the house. Inside, this narrow-lot design is big on detail. A welcoming foyer greets visitors and is adjacent to a bedroom and bath. Upstairs, a spacious bonus room offers over 400 square feet in flexible living space. Downstairs, the open kitchen, dining and great rooms are an entertainer's dream. Tray ceilings crown the dining and great rooms, while porch access and a fireplace are additional details in the great room. The rear of the home is comprised of the master suite, which is truly impressive. Supported around the base by pillars and arched doorways, these lines on the dome in the old entrance to the Royal Ontario Museum move upward and converge overhead at the top of the rotunda. This one photo can't fully capture the splendor of this building, but I like it for today's @dailyshoot challenge.
