Tucked down a narrow little alley was a tiny little Amernian church that was open. Would have never guess what was inside from the outside. Buildings are crammed one on top of the other so you don't usually get a sense of what is inside from the outside.
No, it's not literally chocolate. I just looked at the shot and thought, "wow, that's really beautiful...it looks like gourmet chocolate." I like the lights and their reflections in the ceiling. I also like the half-people in the shot (however, I have a feeling that many won't like that they are cut in half...oh well, I don't mind. I think that they add a feeling of fellowshp to the shot). Sometimes I look at the world in a bit of a strange way.
Most of the ceilings in the mansion are wooden or plastered, but some are more ornate than others. This coffered ceiling is done with Brazilian Mahogany.
Rare is it that I ever see this type of evening sky in Northeast Wisconsin. But one evening in the winter I happened to get lucky and catch this before the sun went too far down.
