I shot this for the woodworking contractor who did the ceiling and wood paneling. The point of view was chosen to emphasize the ceiling. We chose not to turn on the wall sconces, as they just added a distracting glow and color cast. I wish I had the 24 TS for this, but I didn't so I shot with my 16-35 and use perspective correction in PS.
I monolight in each front corner of the room, bounced into corner ceiling. 2nd exposure for window blended in. 2nd exposure for lamp glow blended in. 2nd exposure for corridor light on right to match color temperature blended in.
We chose the props in the right corner from things available in the house.
