Wood, carved, painted and gilded

The ceiling covering gallery 459 is a testament to the resilience and persistence of traditional Islamic design in Andalusia after the Christian Reconquista. This so-called mudéjar style was especially prevalent in the Aragon and Castile-León regions of Spain, where many Christian churches incorporate similar ceilings. The ceiling is comprised of thirty carved, painted, and gilded pinewood panels. The ceiling originally was designed for a smaller space; it was later expanded, explaining its somewhat uneven geometric pattern. In addition to the Islamic-inspired star pattern, a whimsical frieze of gilded running animals, flying birds and swirling vine scrolls decorates the cornice.

Inside Tour of Masonic Temple, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The interior features ornate rooms, each with specific themes. The workmanship throughout is exquisite, as fine as you'd discover in any castle.

Looking up at the ceiling of Curiosa, a store in downtown Toronto. It is dark blue, with a magical sigil in gold paint. The sigil is a circle within a diamond within a cirles within a square. The inner circle is divided into 12 segments marke with roman numerals. The points of the diamond have circles with phases of the moon. From the middle of the sigil hangs a chandelier made of panes of frosted glass in an eight-pointed star.

This picture is their calendar formed by their daily observation of sky during night. They knew the period of Earth, Sun, Moon, Venus and other planets very accurately. They create their own calendar that had 365 days a year, 18 month with 20 days per month and 5 days of dead anniversary. According to their accurate calendar, many people believe it has five predictions which are five different century of Sun. The modern time that we are living is fifth century of Sun, and the last prediction is that 2012 is the last year of fifth century of Sun.
