Workshop "Do it yourself! Capacity Building for your team and organisation with Tools for Citizens".
The "Tools for Citizens" is a project which is working on a tailor-made toolbox for the capacity building of civil society organisations. The toolbox was co-created with Turkish and Greek civil society actors. The toolbox helps to approach topics like crowdfunding, collective impact, evaluation or community building. The team brought the toolbox to the MitOst Festival and hosted a workshop on digital storytelling. Festival participants where invited to come up. Tenby is a popular tourist destination and summer Saturday trains in particular can get rather busy. It is for this reason that the through trains to/from London which run on summer Saturdays are very welcome since (as the passenger information screen shows) First Great Western run 8 carriage trains (the normal Arriva Trains Wales services are only 2-car units).
Unfortunately, the writing's on the wall for the Pembroke Dock - London trains; they are scheduled for withdrawal from the Dec 2018 timetable change, meaning the last service will probably run in September 2018 (since it only runs on summer Saturdays).

British High Commission organized the Capacity Building workshop in North Eastern states of India at Sanskriti, SVD House in Guwahati, 31 October and 2 November 2015. The workshop was funded from the Bilateral Programme budget, which included 50 participants from all over North-East. The Berlin S-Bahn has begun testing new technology in a pilot scheme at ten stations giving passengers on the platform information on how full individual carriages of a train are. The aim is a faster flow of passengers boarding and alighting and therefore fewer delays.
The pilot test will initially involve shorter sections of the S-Bahn network. A total of ten sensors have been installed between Jannowitzbrücke and Hauptbahnhof and between Tempelhof and Neukölln. They are now providing real-time capacity utilisation data for trains arriving from both directions at Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt, Friedrichstraße and Hermannstraße stations.
This system had previously been tested on the Hamburg S-Bahn and is now fully operational there.
Three colours are used: Green = Plenty of space, Orange = Space still available, Red = Full.
At Bellevue and Hauptbahnhof stations, the displays are only available for westbound trains in order to compare usage with and without the technology at the same locations.

FAO is working to strengthen the organizational capacities of youth organizations and individual capacities of youth agri-entrepreneurs to engage in responsible investment in agriculture and food systems. This includes the development and application of capacity assessment tools, such as the one that has been applied in four workshops with a total of over 100 participants from Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda. This tools guides stakeholders through a set of questions to assess the existing and needed capacities for youth to implement and benefit from investments.
