The Colosseum could seat 60,000 with room for a further 10,000 standing spectators. The ingenious layout of the corridors and stairways meant that all 70,000 places could be easily filled in a matter of minutes.
The overall objective of this course was to train civil society practitioners in research and documentation skills, communicating evidence-based research, research methodologies and field research techniques amongst others. In attendance were CVE researchers from the Countering Violent Extremism Research Hub network.

The humanitarian department of Muslim Aid (MA) Pakistan conducted a two-days workshop on Humanitarian Capacity Self-Assessment (CSA) at the Crown's Plaza, Islamabad. This CSA sought to develop a joint understanding of the current strengths and gaps of MA Pakistan in terms of its capacity to respond to medium and large emergencies within 72 hours of the disaster. MA's Global Head of Humanitarian, Mr Asif Shirazi was the main facilitator along with co-facilitators; MA Pakistan's Humanitarian Program Manager, Mr Shahnawaz Khan and Manager HR, Ms Sana Tariq. The workshop was attended by 23 program staff of MA Pakistan along with MA Regional HR Advisor Ms Sahr Jamil.
