Woohoo! I got myself an early Easter present - the Canon EF 70-200mm f4L IS USM. I have seen too many brilliant work taken with this lens by my flickr contacts (you know who you are), so I have decided to join the club!
This shot was an old shot taken with the 135mm f2L.

Have been busy with a few things, one of which is planning a holiday for Easter.
Switzerland is now the number one choice after some bizzare turn of events. If anyone has a 8-day itinerary for Switzerland, please let me know! :-)
This image is a product of one of two studio sessions I participated in recently. One night we shot High Key and the next night we shot Low Key. I will post them with alternating styles and models.
One of my good friends here on Flickr didn't know what High Key and Low Key lighting was. I wrote him a quick description that he found very helpful, so I thought I would share it here for those who might be interested.
This is a quick overview... Both High Key images and Low Key images make an intensive use of contrast, but in a very different way. When approaching a shoot of a dramatic portrait, the decision of making it a High Key, Low Key or "just" a regular image has great impact about the mood that this picture will convey. While High Key images are considered happy and will show your subject as a tooth-paste poster; Low Key portraits are dramatic and convey a lot of atmosphere and tension.

This was probably taken 1 second before my previous upload. I was crossing the road and did a few snaps of the pedestrians coming towards my direction.

Most certainly too "cliché", but I feel I have to upload some "classical" London shot to begin with. No worries though, I have more original / less conventional ones...
Somehow this kind of colour tone works well with the photos from Vietnam. This couple was sitting at the next bench to the one in my previous picture.
Very busy recently - will catch up with your streams shortly!
I have been struggling to give creative titles for my pictures recently. Maybe it was work-related as I found myself drained after a day of work lately.
If only I could be as creative as Pit Van Meeffe in naming my pictures!
