Mine: "Large" Spinach Ricotta Calzone. To quote Maxwell Smart, "that's the second biggest calzone I've ever seen!" Also delicious!
Homemade calzones. Pillsbury pizza dough rolled out, topped with pizza sauce, a layer of pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese, some hot sausage, repeat, fold over, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
from Sal's in Little Italy - a childhood memory! I ate this faster than you would imagine, I kind of scared my husband. Proscuitto Mushroom.
Feito com massa de pão de queijo Yoki..
Essa foto é bem antiga não lembro o recheio, mas do jeito que eu gosto de tomate e azeitona com certeza faziam parte do recheio... Além da mussarela que está visível ;)

Garlic herb dough slathered with extra virgin olive oil, more garlic, salt, pepper, rice parmesan, lemon juice, processed greens from the garden, and a few soy curls.
Tasted just like the real deal.

Tiradas en el suelo, con los calzones en el lider. xD
Now stretch out the dough on a baking sheet. To do this I turned the dough upside down and began to pull it across the sheet. By turning it upside down, the side on the baking sheet is that which has been exposed to the air, it is slightly harder and less likely to stick to the sheet.
Spread tomato paste - or if you have time tomato paste mixed with dried italian herbs.
Vegan Pizza Daaaaay!
To start we made calzones filled with mozzarella Daiya, broccoli, cauliflower, black olives, grape tomatoes (sadly not home-grown - not yet!), and roasted peppers (red and yellow). You can tell that we're amateurs when it comes to calzones - both of 'em leaked a little. Oh well, practice makes perfect - so we'd better keep eating! (Like I need an excuse, pfffft.)
We had some dough left over, so we washed it down with a Kalamata olive crust pizza. Soooo stuffed.
Gonna go watch a movie and pass out now mkay.
(Oh and don't forget to enter the giveaway! I only have like a dozen entries so far, so your odds are spectacular!)
