This didn't turn out that bad considering I was panicking as it was a last minute order.
All the cupcake toppers are handmade using fondant .
My first wedding cake!
And I blogged about it over here: aliciapolicia.blogspot.com/2011/11/succulent-wedding-cake...
A presto

Little cakes from a company I can't remember the name of (Durian was in it--they make durian pancakes) in the Takashimaya basement. I just thought they were pretty. The flavors include bean, yam and perhaps lotus seed.
This wedding cake was for a Christian couple (both of whom have been widowed). They are such a neat story. It was the groom's idea to put the Christian symbol of the fish on the cake (as a suprise for the bride!) and the Bride suprised him with the Bass Cake - so they both suprised eachother with fish. Super cute.
On Sunday, 31 July, 2016 my daughters made me a birthday cake, albeit a day late. It's topped with blueberries and whipped cream. Thank you Carolyn and Jessica.
Fortunatly,I had made most of the pieces earlier in the week. I broke my foot (in two places) Wednesday night and am in a cast and on crutches :( I have to go to an Orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday to make sure that nothing more is needed. Fingers crossed!!
owl cake I did for my sisters baby shower. It stood almost 2 feet high. I think it was a total of 14 layers. Fresh bananna cake with a dark chocolate salted ganache filling alternating with a fresh mango buttercream. I didn't get around to taking any pictures since I was the host of the party. I was responsible for making food and dessert for 50 people. My friend, who is a photographer, was there and got a few shots she should be sending me soon. This was the second party in a span of 8 days I threw at my house for a total of 90 guests! needless to say, I am tired and ready for a break!
made this cake for tracy, who is apparently a frog fanatic! i got the design from an old cake decorating book given to me by iya (thank you iya!) years back, and i instantly fell in love with it! you can just imagine how excited i was to make this cake after years of anticipation! chiqui tweaked it a bit by suggesting the grass on the cake board, and i took out the crown na din cause i didn't like the way mine turned out. heehee

Cheese wheels tiered to make a cheese "cake".
I wish I could remember what we had served for sure but the cheese was procured right at the very end and we had to make a lot of adjustments based on availability... i know that's a little crottin on top and that's all i'm sure of.
