A lovely clear day in desert land it can be very windy and often extremely hot but for a few months snowbirds and tourists make there way to get winter relief. This was taken inside the retirement community of Sun City PD.

Saltwater Creek is what is geographicaly termed a "captured" stream, naturally diverted through limestone caves, from Card Creek in the next valley southwards.
The Isle of Skye’s Fairy Pools with Coire na Creiche in the background.
If you're planning on a trip to the Isle of Skye and want to add in a little hiking, I certainly recommend you take a little hike up to the Fairy Pools - with the stunning Cuillin mountains behind, vividly coloured pools of often almost still water which are perfectly punctunated by beautiful water falls along the River Brittle.

This is a view from Cascade Springs in the Uinta National Forest, Utah. Crystal clear water bubbles up from the ground and then cascades down a series of pools until it forms a stream that flows down a mountain. The forest service has constructed bridges and wooden walkways so you can get up close to the pools. With all the spring rain, the surrounding plant life was very lush and green.

Umngot River is probably clearest water river in India. One has to see the river to feel the pristine beauty of this river. The crystal clear water is something one can cherish for the rest of their life and boating on this river will give you a surreal feeling that you are just walking on glass
A beautiful beach and crystal-clear waters sheltered from the open Southern Ocean beyond by the steep cliffs on either side would apparently make this an idyllic location. But this is the scene of one of Australia's great Victorian tragedies.
In the early hours of 1 June 1878, the Loch Ard, a Glasgow-built clipper, was approaching the end of a three-month voyage from Gravesend, England under Captain George Gibb when cliffs were seen ahead and despite the crew's best efforts, the ship ran aground on Muttonbird Island just beyond the entrance to the gorge (off to the left above).
Of the 36 crew and 18 passengers, only two, ship's apprentice Tom Pearce, and Eva Carmichael, one of a family of eight Irish emigrants, survived. After drifting for hours under an upturned lifeboat, Tom was swept ashore in this gorge after the tide turned at dawn. He heard cries and swam out to rescue Eva, taking an hour to bring her back to the beach. Tom then climbed out of the gorge seeking help. At Glenample Station, owner Hugh Gibson arranged to pluck Eva to safety.
Only four bodies were recovered from the Loch Ard and most of the cargo, some of which included display pieces intended for Melbourne's 1880 International Exhibition, was lost.
Tom Pierce became a national hero and was awarded the Humane Society's gold medal for his efforts in front of 5,000 people. Romantic sentiment of the time wished Tom and Eva to marry but within three months she returned to Ireland and the two never met again.
Today, the Loch Ard Gorge is part of Port Campbell National Park, which also includes the Glenample Homestead and the world-famous Twelve Apostles.
In the cliffs at the far end of the beach can be seen clear examples of the sort of erosion and weathering by breaking waves that leads to the headlands becoming detached from the coast and forming the famous limestone sea stacks for which the National Park is so rightly famous.

The heat wave continues but cold crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay were Exquisite! Biking home again in a wet bathing suit also helped.

The estuary at the end of Namskaket Creek is a beautiful spot on an outgoing tide. As the water recedes, the semi-submerged bright green eel grass shimmers in the mid-day sun - almost as if I hit it with a strobe.

Looking south-south-east from Hickson Road, this is a rather non-tourist view of Sydney's central business district on a crystal-clear morning.
Part of the Sydney Harbour Bridge's southern approaches towers on the far-right and together with the Earth Exchange Building on the right and the ASN Co. Building's clock tower in the mid-left foreground these are the obviously-older structures visible. The remainder of the CBD from this perspective appears to contain only much more modern post-war structures.

Last night I had a dream about a hummingbird who was inside my bedroom and flew down to alight on my finger. This morning this old image mysteriously spoke to me, and I felt the unexplainable urge to post it. So many *signs* knocking on our doors; if only we would listen and believe in what nature attempts to speak to humanKIND.
