The River Arle in Alresford is a chalk stream river with crystal clear water. There are always many ducks to be found here doing what ducks do, making lots of noise, acting about.
I researched the collective noun for ducks and found a huge choice - 15 on one site. I liked 'paddle'.....

This is my favorite place on earth!!! And yes the water really is that crystal clear! This lil village sits at the head of a 55 mile long, glacier fed and 3rd deepest lake in the states. Only way to get there is by boat, hiking in or flying in. It really is paradise on earth!!! 💜💜💜

Glacial rocks shine through the crystal waters of Two Medicine Lake as Sinopah Mountain rises 8,271 ft along the Lewis Range in Glacier National Park.
Sorry. Trying not to be too touristy. But this is simply beautiful. No Photoshop.
Thanks for visiting.....

From my Archives. The image is taken from a narrow path above one of the cascades.
The National Park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Currently, 16 lakes can be seen from the surface.[3] These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The lakes are all interconnected and follow the water flow.
The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.

Dear friends, I will be away for some days..
Many thanks for your kind visits, comments and invites.
See you soon :-)
Lake George is well-known and loved for its crystal-clear water. It's a deep lake [a graben, or dropped area of rock] between two rock walls of hills. So it's very cold as well. Fishing is good, as far as I can tell from the number of fishing boats out in the early mornings.
This shot was taken with the GoPro. The polarizing lens really brings out the colors of the rocks beneath the surface.
Blick von St. Bartholomä auf den kristallklaren eiskalten Königssee.
View from St. Batholomae on the crystal clear icy cold lake Koenigssee.
The Königssee is a natural lake in the extreme southeast Berchtesgadener Land district of the German state of Bavaria, near the Austrian border. Most of the lake is within the Berchtesgaden National Park. The lake is noted for its clear water and is advertised as the cleanest lake in Germany.
This is another shot of lily pads as they start to emerge from the shallow waters of Talawanda Lake near McAlester Oklahoma. I usually curse the contrails left by airliners, but in this instance I don't mind them too much... heck, they might even add a little something to this shot..... Thanks for taking the time to look and have a great week...... This shot really is better viewed large.
From the archives....Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park, August 2014
Hard to resist crystal clear, emerald green waters, blue skies, rugged, rocky peaks and a splash of red. Not sure about you, but makes me want to skip out on work and grab a paddle :-)
Have a great Tuesday....thanks for all your visits and comments!!!!!

“Be careful what you water your dreams with.
Water them with worry and fear and you will produce
weeds that choke the life from your dream.
Water them with optimism and solutions and you will

Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.”
From our Sunday day trip to the South Devon coast and spending all day at the beach in Hope Cove. The water was fantastically refreshing and so crystal clear, we saw lots of fish, kelp and other interesting sealife like hermit crabs. I have to get some diving goggles and a snorkel for next time!!
The Soca river gorge is a beautiful place located in the Julian alps of Slovenia, just a couple of kilometers east of Bovec.
It's really worth a visit when you're in the area!
