An under water view of a Lane Davey and Guinn Allen swimming under a wave, that's roling across the reef at Off The Wall, on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
Another shot with some graduated setup above the city of Rishikesh in between river Ganges, the water was crystal clear green like flowing emerald.
A shot from last year's cruise trip.
We leave tomorrow for this year's cruise and I can't wait!! I will miss all my Flickr friends but promise to bring back lots of new images to share.

Wife goes for a swim to cool off the afternoon heat. Too bad I could not dive in right away because of the camera. But hey, at least I got the shot :)

It's mid-spring on Cape Cod, and today is an early gift of a beach day. The temperatures are perfect, there is barely any wind, and the crowds have not yet arrived. At the right tide, with bright mid-day overhead light, our Northside beaches take on a Caribbean look. The color though is special... its slightly different than a tropical beach, and that makes it our own.

This bad boy was rising early in the evening, when Sam came and told to bring out the camera. I slapped the teleconverter on and the rest is digital history.
A quiet day in paradise at Coral Gardens Resort in Turks and Caicos. This beach is very popular for snorkeling due to the large area of coral reef close to the shoreline. We had the beach to ourselves that day which made it the perfect day at the beach.
I love the natural beauty of the Turks and Caicos islands. This photo is a perfect example.

My cousin who lives in Cornwall took us to some very beautiful off the beaten track areas, the day was glorious and really hot. The colour of the water was exceptional, my cousin said he had never seen such colours in the Cornish seas in the 30 odd years he had lived there. Guess we were very lucky.

Salento.
Salento (Salentu in local dialect) is the south-eastern extremity of the Apulia region of Italy. It is a sub-peninsula of the main Italian peninsula, sometimes described as the "heel" of the Italian "boot". It encompasses the entire administrative area of the province of Lecce, a large part of the administrative area of Brindisi and part of that of Taranto. The peninsula is also known as Terra d'Otranto, and in ancient times was called variously Messapia, Calabria, and Salentina.

History
Messapia (from Greek Μεσσαπία) was the ancient name of a region of Italy largely corresponding to modern Salento. It was inhabited chiefly by the Messapii in classical times. Pokorny derives the toponym from PIE *medhyo-, "middle" and PIE *ap-, "water" (Mess-apia, "amid waters"; Note: the asterisk before a word indicates that it is a hypothetical construction, not an attested form). Pokorny compares the toponym Messapia to another ancient Italic toponym, Salapia, "salt water", a city in Apulia.
Salento peninsula is a rock of limestone dividing the Adriatic Sea from the Ionian Sea. Known also as "peninsula salentina", from a geo-morphologic point of view it encompasses the land borders between Ionian sea and the Adriatic sea to the “Messapic threshold”, a depression that runs along the Taranto-Ostuni line and separates it from the Murge. Its borders are:
Taranto, in the province of the same name;
Pilone, in the territory of Ostuni (province of Brindisi),
Santa Maria di Leuca, in the province of Lecce.

Over looking the famous water bungalows of Soneva Gili resort Maldives to stay in one of these water bungalows it will cost you around 1400usd.
and this is the price of a standard water bungalow, they also have the largest water bungalow in the world, i dont know the price but i guess u would have to take a very big bank loan to stay there.
I used the canon EF-14mm fish eye lens on this one. umm! if you are wondering where i am :) im on a little speed boat just outside the islands entrance.
Fish in a stream at Natural Bridge, VA. Natural Bridge is one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Thanks to jon_beard for letting me know the type of fish: The odd one is a Golden Rainbow Trout. They're artificially cultivated (since being bright gold/yellow makes gets you eaten quickly in the wild.) Usually, they're used as novelty or marker fish so that people can see them and then be able to see the otherwise harder to spot rainbow trout they're swimming with. www.flickr.com/photos/jonbeard/

Plaka Litochoro in Pieria, Greece with his crystalclear blue sea and in the background the mountain Olympus
I had spotted the interesting clouds in the background of today’s photo coming across the sky and set about finding something to put in front of them. A lot of my photos, particularly in places I know well, like Bermuda, are the result of seeing something developing in the sky and finding a location to act as my foreground. If I’m heading out in Bermuda I’ll often look at the sky and make a split decision on where to head rather than thinking of what I want to photograph. The approach may be a little backwards, but it works when you’ve got options in all directions, within 15 minutes drive. I wonder how many more photographers regularly let the sky dictate the location they choose to shoot. Feel free to let me know what you think about this in the comments.
