For some reason I’m very fond of central compositions. I know lots of people don’t like this (because they occasionally tell me), but for me the rules are only valid if you want to follow them. Anyway, this image was made at midday, using my 8 stop neutral density filter. I wanted to smooth out the water to really simplify the composition. If I’m honest, I wish I could have gone for a swim here, it was midsummer and lovely and warm. The water was about 3 meters deep and it was crystal clear! Oh how I love St Ives! Out of interest, just after making this image I headed back to the little beach just behind me and I found a spider crab. The tide was as low as I had ever seen it here and I picked it up to show the kids... my son found it fascinating, but my daughter nearly shattered every glass on the beachfront cafe! Oh what a fun birthday it was!

At the Tuolumne Meadows section of Yosemite National Park.
Yosemite National Park sits in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountain range . . . And just as a truly great piece of music is not judged by one single note but how a variety of notes are put together with the many instruments, such is Yosemite. It doesn't have the highest mountains or the deepest rivers . . . but, wow, how they are all put together.
This is a place like a haven to me when I first see the crystal clear water along the Te Waihou walkway. I have never seen water can be that clear. It was the source to be used to supply about 40% of the spring water in New Zealand. Although it was so beautiful but there were no other people visiting this place when I was there. However, it is a well preserved nature that should be visited if you visit New Zealand.
It is located at a small town called Putaruru. They called this the pride of Putaruru. There were two alternative routes you can reach to the spring, one is through the side of the normal Tirau to Rotorua/ Taupo highway which you will need to walk for about 2hrs to reach the spring. The other alternative is you drive further down the road into Leslie road to reach another start point of the Te Waihou walkway which you only need to walk for 20minutes to see the spring.

24th September 2017.
She said the cold might make you feel warm. She said, hold one of your hands in mine. She lifted me to the sunrise and gently put me back into the snow. I obeyed.

May 2009 Give One And All The Oppurtunity To:
1. Keep it together.
2. Mend Everything that we wish we had earlier.
3. Lead a crystal clear life, on the exterior and within.
4. Settle differences.
5. Let our actions Mirror our conscience.
6. Apologise to people who deserve it.
7. Sincerely aim towards self betterment.
8. Respect elders and the elderly/ Empathise.
9. Dare to do all the things we have never done.
10. Breathe.
11. Be thankful for all we have, including our lives.. instead of pursuing what we wish we could have had.

You just want to lean down and take a drink. Liked how the clouds here in the sky balanced out the composition of the bushes along this pretty river.
The drive from the glaciers to Queenstown is beyond beautiful. The mountains, the lakes, the waterfalls, sheep, vistas and valleys are changing at each of the many twisting turns. We were pulling over the side to take photos every 10 minutes. The drive is shown to take 4 hours but took us about 8, including a glacial swim in the crystal waters here. Pulled over on one of the vistas, walked down the cliffs and had the place all to ourselves.
Our hitchhiker was a photographer with a keen eye for the scenery and an enthusiastic rock skipper so we enjoyed the views and the company.
I collected several of these glacial rocks, perfectly flat, oval and shiny, and will have to see if they fit in my luggage.

The Königssee near Berchtesgaden / Bavaria / Germany on a cloudy winter day.
The Königssee is a natural lake in the extreme southeast Berchtesgadener Land district of the German state of Bavaria, near the Austrian border. Most of the lake is within the Berchtesgaden National Park.
Situated within the Berchtesgaden Alps in the municipality of Schönau am Königsee, just south of Berchtesgaden and the Austrian city of Salzburg, the Königssee is Germany's third deepest lake. Located at a Jurassic rift, it was formed by glaciers during the last ice age. It stretches about 7.7 km (4.8 mi) in the north-south direction and is about 1.7 km (1.1 mi) across at its widest point. Except at its outlet, the Königsseer Ache at the village of Königssee, the lake similar to a fjord is surrounded by steeply rising flanks of mountains up to 2,700 m (8,900 ft), including the Watzmann massif in the west. The railway Königsseebahn served the lake from 1909 until 1965. Its last tracks were dismantled during 1971, and the station in Berchtesgaden was demolished in 2012. The only remaining element of the railway is the Königsee station (now a restaurant). The track route is mostly used as a walking path.

India, South Goa, Cavelossim Beach, blue sky, endless km of almost untouched beach, fishing boats, crystal clear ocean & dolphins passing by.
During the main monsoon season, from June to September, the ocean level rises with thunderous swell & covers the complete beach up far into the coconut palm grove behind the beach.
