- it was a lovely sunny February day, crocuses bloooming in the gardens of the mill and the sound of rushing water as a backdrop
- oh and this time there WAS cake with the coffee
sometimes you come across an image that is so vivid, & carries such an impact where no words are required...it visually speaks for itself...I am humbled by the mastery of Nature's perfection...~
It's been rainy for the couple past days, but for some hours, the sun makes it through the clouds, and I marvel at the beautiful little works of art which the last rain shower left behind 🔮✨

Procida is the smallest island of the Gulf of Naples; it is rich in attractions and archaeology. From the ground floor of Napoli Centro train station, you can take the metro to station Pozzuoli then get off and take the ferry at the port of Pozzuoli. The architecture of Procida has a Greek origin. In fact, the history of Procida is concentrated first of all on the medieval village “Terra Murata” and on “Corricella”, the fishing settlement. The island has served as the set for numerous films, such as The “Postman”, and some scenes in “The Talented Mr. Ripley” were shot on Corricella. The landmarks of Procida reflect typical Mediterranean pastel colours. Procida offers simply cooking and at least 10 excellent restaurants with plain cooking based on fresh fish. This simple style never fails, thanks to the 20 local fishing boats. The specialties of the cooking are: stewed rabbit (which goes back to the Borbonen who came on Procida to hunt the wild rabbit) and spaghetti with sea-urchin. Procida has 6 beaches with crystal-clear waters. Spent some relaxing days on this wonderful island. Experience the real Italy, lovely people, great views, great sand and great food.
The best way to get to procida is travelling to Pozzuoli first, beautiful as well as other districts of Naples, by train where you will find marina with ferries. . . . Tried to find any kind of flower in the yard, but alas, it is still too cold here, as about 90% of the lake still has ice on it! So, down by the crystal clear waters of the lake, I captured little, one inch tall waves coming in to the beach.

This is Crystal Lake. It is located near Ironton on the Million Dollar Highway. It is right on the highway.
As I did many times, many people drive right pass Crystal Lake. I did that many times, but if there is little wind, I never drive by anymore.

At the moment i´m often falling asleep with a smile on my face next to my love and over my little book i scribble ideas, locations, thoughts, whatever comes to my mind in. i´m really motivated to put as many as possible into practice yet before we welcome our little baby soon. So many plans and so much happiness to come :)

I got to this glacier-fed, crystal clear Moraine Lake really early. Not many people were around. I appreciated how the Valley of the Ten Peaks behind the lake. Still surrounded by the mist, these 10,000 plus feet peaks were slowly waking up. There was a gentle breeze but it didnât stir the water much. It was one of those moments where I wished I could've just sat there for hours. But it was time to get moving.
