In the midst of a severe winter storm with blowing snow the city sand-truck is a welcome sight (especially on this hilly street!)

This swan lives on a large pond in Rhyl. Like most British swans it is so used to humans that whenever it sees some it hopes for free food. The ones on this pond do quite well as it is a popular place for families and fishermen.

We managed to find enough space to build a new Barbie House, it will be 2 rooms wide X 3 stories high. About 54" wide 18" deep & 72" high. The plan is to use foam sheets for the entire construction, should make a very light but strong house.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go camping with my son and the 11 year old Boy Scouts. We had a great time visiting the "Little Sahara" sand dunes about an hour and a half southwest from us.

Not being a native of Utah, I have never explored this area and really enjoyed the outing.

This photo was taken as various recreational vehicles were heading back into the campsite area from a day of enjoying the sand.

Yesterday, November 23rd, the annual Yoroi Kizome or "Coming of Age", Ceremony was held at Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto-Japan. This ceremony was first held during the Heian period (794 to 1185). When Minamoto no Yoshitsuna of the Kawachi Genji clan turned 13 he was given his first samurai armor.

I wanted a vampire.

I was sure I wanted a mistic baby in ws. But I had a bit of trouble choosing between Lea and Miel. Then decided for her. She's my favourite mold.

I took also the open eyes head. Maybe I'll keep it or not.

Hand-made rando rack, nearly done. Still need to braze on some wire guides and a mount for the remote switchbox.
