My travels around the UK with my son. June/July 2019 England.
Our last day in London.. we are on the Thames Clipper making our way down to Greenwich.
The River Thames, known alternatively in parts as the Isis, is a river that flows through southern England including London. At 215 miles, it is the longest river entirely in England and the second-longest in the United Kingdom, after the River Severn. It flows through Oxford, Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Windsor.

Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park is an IUCN Category II National Park situated in the Pyrenees of Huesca province, Aragon, Spain. There has been a National Park in the Ordesa Valley since 1918. Its protected area was enlarged in 1982 to cover the whole region amounting to 156.08 km².
It has been included since 1997 by UNESCO in the Biosphere Reserve of Ordesa-Viñamala. In the same year it was included in the cross-border Pyrénées - Mont Perdu World Heritage Site.
The park's territory includes the municipalities of Torla, Broto, Fanlo, Tella-Sin, Puértolas, and Bielsa.

Beginning of autumn in the Pyrenees means no crowds, empty paths, stunning autumn colors and first snow in higher elevations - all those things one needs when searching for a complete rest and brain restart.
We spent our 2nd part of Ordesa national park exploration in the Pineta valley, hiking to the La Larri plains (Llanos de La Larri) and lakes - really beautiful hike that started with sunny autumn moods and ended with first snow in higher elevations...

Soldiers are accompanying refugees who are herding cattle along a road, followed by a cart piled high with furniture and other belongings. These refugees appear to have been relatively lucky, others escaped with nothing. They were compensated for their material losses after the war but nothing could compensate for the civilian casualties and deaths.
After the war, many farmers found their land was devastated, crossed by trenches and wire and littered with unexploded shells and other debris of battle.

I was following my wife along this deserted beach in Tasmania taking photos and noticed the merging of the footprints coming toward me and took the snapshot
