66122 & 66126 bring the Rail Head Treatment Train to Inverness from Carlisle. The engines and the wagons will not look this clean once the train starts operating.

The further cable car is about to take passengers up and over Nob Hill to Market Street. The nearer one will reverse itself on the turntable and follow the other. Angel Island is across the bay.

1984 Larry Anderson's statue “Coming Home” depicts a railway worker greeting his child. It’s located in front of the bank at the corner of South 56th Street and South Tacoma Way.

We CRAWLED down 198 out of the park that afternoon in dense clouds/fog, praying the whole time that we'd be off the mountain before the blizzard hit.

A brand new city

Luanda, Angola

A couple of days after a brutal snow storm, my wife and I were out for a walk to enjoy the rare sunny afternoon. The light reflecting off this scene with the presence of snow captured my eye, and highlighted the conflict that exists toward the end of winter, and the coming of spring.

I thought this made an interesting comparison - same street, different directions. One taken on my way to play a gig at Dick's Den, the other heading back to my car afterward. I thought I'd taken them at the same time until I noticed the bike in one and not the other...

The wall is that of a restaurant called the Blue Danube ("The Dube" as its commonly known) - the mural is a depiction of the actual Danube River in Budapest.

Murrieta's Donut Dreams are coming true!!! Dunkin Donuts will be building a new location in Murrieta, California; at Murrieta Town Center East between Carl's Jr and Coldwell Banker Realtors, also in the horizon, Golden Corral Buffet to be built in this same plaza so by next year, both should be open for business!

Fenced area where ground has already been broken to start building a new Dunkin' Donuts location, this will be the area's first DD location although Temecula has already a Baskin-Robbins location by the mall... funny because the store next to it, a former Apple One Job Center is now closed, could the Baskin-Robbins franchise owner be prepping to add Dunkin' Donuts as well?

As I left NYC, a rain was setting in. An omen perhaps to the rain that plagued my Utah stay. I happen to pack an Umbrella (LOL). When I arrived at Double Arch, I setup to take the shot. The sun didn't appear, spurning me as it feared behind the clouds.

Someone nearby yelled, "there's a storm coming!".

I turned around and looked at the colors the peaking sun was casting on the rocks, and the clouds breaking with wet energy. I repositioned my tripod, popped open my umbrella and happily snapped away at the colors.

Technique: Tripod, exposed for the clouds, and held an umbrella.
