This is a pic of Daddy II bringing a bug in to the babies. These bluebirds come in fast. I'm surprised at how accurately they hit the hole at speed. Looks like I'm going to have to shoot faster than 1/1600 to freeze them.

Wandered through my city this weekend shooting film with Staci Lee. (the film will be back to us in a week...) We saw runners in a half marathon, witnessed contestants getting patted down for America's Got Talent (we were also asked to try out but neither of us could think of talents we had that could be put on national television), we met a Magic man, some hilarious Canadians (we think or they might really be from Ontario, CALIFORNIA~duh) we saw someone famous (Marc Brown, a local newscaster going into a semi-private party~what the heck is a semi-private party?) we saw a Peruvian procession at the local Cathedral, we stumbled onto a huge party on Olvera St., and we got picked up on at Union Station. Never a dull moment, let me tell you. Happy Tuesday, everyone...may your day be full of adventure and fun...

Zion has many beautiful view and scene with clear sky, sunny. But during time i was there, even when the rain is coming, the last ray before clouds take over, Zion offers the best view for those who waited and willing to risk the "gear".
Always patience!!! and take the best at the moment nature offers to me.

Providence & Worcester NR-2 heads east back to Plainfield, CT with a very short train. It is passing the rear of the train it brought up from Plainfield, as it crosses the Willimantic River in Willimantic, CT
The engines are on the New England Central main track, as the train they brought with them is parked on the P&W main. They will cross over to their own track about a mile south.
I think This might be a female chaffinch? I don't really know about birds- I just pressed the shutter!

After meeting northbound CSX freight M400-24 just up the line at MP 157.9, Amtrak’s southbound Palmetto rapidly approaches a clear signal at MP 160.0 as she barrels into Selma for a brief stop on her way down to Savannah with five-month-old AMTK ALC-42 No. 329 leading.
Construction worker: "Damnit, when the hell is this train gonna get here! Wait, I think I can hear it...."

Iron Man moves from #26 Avengers Mansion to #24 Western Subway.
I got back from a work trip to Paris yesterday after 24 hours, through 3 countries on 8 trains, 3 buses, 2 ferries and 1 Taxi.
But i did get to see the white cliffs of Dover! This was taken on a Sea France ferry, surrounded by many screaming children.
On the way to Calais, we feared that all the ferries were booked up for days but luckily we had no problem getting one when we arrived.
Very happy to be home, so many people still stranded in travel chaos across Europe. Sparing a thought for them today.
The 2024 Dalesbus season is now underway with a similar network to last year in Nidderdale. This is Keighley Merc Mellor Strata No 70 WP21FHC which despite its youth has worked at Burnley & York before coming to Keighley and now onto its second livery. The bus is working the afternoon 15.50 Middlesmoor - Keighley dalesbus, actually operating on a private road for this first section down to Lofthouse. There is a lovely walk at the end of this road around Scar House reservoir which supplies much of Bradford`s water. Obviously in the minority, i do like these little mercs, very quirky in my eyes.
