A storm was brewing to the West of us, and this one particular cloud with it's swirling, spiral look drew my eyes to it. It really looked ominous!

A little blurry (dont blame me), but this shows how tiny and figure hugging this dress is. My modesty is intact though, or at least well covered.

Arriva Kent & Surrey are coming off route 32 (Guildford - Redhill) today, Saturday 30th May 2015. They have run it since the demise of Tillingbourne in 2001. Compass Bus will take over the service from Monday 1st June 2015. The Sunday service, run by Buses Excetera, is unaffected.

This is the Arriva app tracker showing the final Arriva-run 32, the 1803 ex-Redhill (arr Guildford 1936), approaching Guildford (seen in Albury).

It's Enviro 3990 (GN07 DLY), covering for Dart 3109 which should have operated this journey but failed at Redhill prior to it. Enviro 3990 was sent out from Guildford to cover the trip - hence its late running.

What I take from this art masterpiece for my efforts in photography

I have grown up with the guideline in photography that it is almost always better to have a subject look directly into the lens to engage with a photograph's viewer. It is best to catch at least one person peeking at the camera in a crowded scene. You know, "the eyes are the windows to the soul." In the age of smartphone selfies, just about everyone understands that guideline. But that is NOT the case here. This artist tells a better story by having a subject NOT look directly into the canvas/lens. The artist is a fly on the wall. Not seeing the faces makes the observer emotionally connect by having their imagination take over. The observer is transferred to the subjects of the scene. It seems that this is metaphorically about the observer and their memory, even though it is a different time and place.

getting ready for a busy day. this is the way to start.

Filmed last year, now only managed to stitch it together.

Kuala Pilah is my home town with population over 70,000. The town is the world to us when we were kids. Now quite a large West_East peninsular traffic flows through the street of this basically quiet town ceaselessly creating air pollution, noise and traffic congestion.

Back and forth between the ocean and the rocks.

Waiting at Redfern station for my train home. It was 10 minutes late, the winter afternoon light was nice, so I pulled out my camera...

"Oscar" train led by set H37 approaches platform 1 at Redfern, while in the background a "Millennium" train heads away on the down Illawarra line.

Tonight as I was coming back from the Wild Animal Sanctuary, the sunset was AMAZING! Since I had just left the lions and tigers, it felt like I was on the Serengeti. I uploaded a large size to use for wallpaper. Enjoy!
