Construction worker: "Damnit, when the hell is this train gonna get here! Wait, I think I can hear it...."

" 'Cuse Me! Coming through!"

"Holy.....what the hell? THE Iron Man, in a subway tunnel!?"

"Jarvis! How far until we track down the quinjet!?"

" Continue along the subway tunnel sir, take a right at the next junction, then follow that track until you reach a subway stop, the thief is there."

"Got it, time to catch this bitch!"

Iron Man moves from #26 Avengers Mansion to #24 Western Subway.

I got back from a work trip to Paris yesterday after 24 hours, through 3 countries on 8 trains, 3 buses, 2 ferries and 1 Taxi.

But i did get to see the white cliffs of Dover! This was taken on a Sea France ferry, surrounded by many screaming children.

On the way to Calais, we feared that all the ferries were booked up for days but luckily we had no problem getting one when we arrived.

Very happy to be home, so many people still stranded in travel chaos across Europe. Sparing a thought for them today.

Bengal tiger information from the National Geographic site at animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/bengal-tig...

Tigers are the largest members of the cat family and are renowned for their power and strength.

There were eight tiger subspecies at one time, but three became extinct during the 20th century. Over the last 100 years, hunting and forest destruction have reduced tiger populations from hundreds of thousands of animals to perhaps fewer than 2,500. Tigers are hunted as trophies, and also for body parts that are used in traditional Chinese medicine. All five remaining tiger subspecies are endangered, and many protection programs are in place.

Bengal tigers live in India and are sometimes called Indian tigers. They are the most common tiger and number about half of all wild tigers. Over many centuries they have become an important part of Indian tradition and lore.

Tigers live alone and aggressively scent-mark large territories to keep their rivals away. They are powerful nocturnal hunters that travel many miles to find buffalo, deer, wild pigs, and other large mammals. Tigers use their distinctive coats as camouflage (no two have exactly the same stripes). They lie in wait and creep close enough to attack their victims with a quick spring and a fatal pounce. A hungry tiger can eat as much as 60 pounds (27 kilograms) in one night, though they usually eat less.

Arriva Kent & Surrey are coming off route 32 (Guildford - Redhill) today, Saturday 30th May 2015. They have run it since the demise of Tillingbourne in 2001. Compass Bus will take over the service from Monday 1st June 2015. The Sunday service, run by Buses Excetera, is unaffected.

This is the Arriva app tracker showing the final Arriva-run 32, the 1803 ex-Redhill (arr Guildford 1936), approaching Guildford (seen in Albury).

It's Enviro 3990 (GN07 DLY), covering for Dart 3109 which should have operated this journey but failed at Redhill prior to it. Enviro 3990 was sent out from Guildford to cover the trip - hence its late running.

In this video, it shows an atmospheric river pound the Bay Area, particularly San Jose, CA, with gusty southerly winds & rain. This was `day 2` of this weather event which had started just the day prior. Rain & wind was observed during the morning hours, including during our Sunday service. Things have calmed down just a bit during the afternoon hours but by nightfall/sunset, the winds have increased (with less rain). I was observing the winds around our eastern foothills where the strongest winds were seen this evening. At the time, we were experiencing the atmospheric river's cold frontal passage which explains all the wind that was present. Anyway, stay safe out on the roads everyone... (Footage filmed on Sunday, December 1, 2019)

*Weather update/scenario:

The first ‘atmospheric river’ of the season has arrived in the Bay Area and was forecast to stay until Tuesday or so. Two to four inches of rain was expected for most of the Bay Area. However, our local hills and mountains may see more than 4 inches of rain. Rainfall had picked up Saturday night into Sunday, with scattered showers lasting thru Tuesday. Wind speeds were ranging from 20-40 mph with higher gusts locally. Along the coast and at the highest peaks, winds were gusting to more than 60 mph. The strongest winds were expected to occur from Saturday evening thru Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Wind advisories and high wind warnings were issued along the Bay Area coastlines.... This atmospheric river was part of a low pressure area that was off the coast. Through Tuesday, we were to have rainy, unsettled weather and decrease by Wednesday. After a very brief lull in the rains, by Thursday, another low pressure trough was to be approaching the coast. This trough was to bring in additional rain to the state Thursday night thru early Saturday. Overall, expect rainy, showery weather in the coming week...

getting ready for a busy day. this is the way to start.

I take this road everyday to office and back. I always thought of making a light trail shot here. This is not a perfect place – there is no road divider and in the evening traffic is heavy only at one side (people coming home). But thick and tall vegetation on both sides created a nice “V” (or leading line, the way u see it). I just had to wait for a evening with interesting sky.
