Coming to an end of my Grand Hyatt Kauai photos.
This is the view looking back up at the main building from the gardens and pools south of the main building.
We took a special vacation to Kauai and stayed at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa. It is an absolutely gorgeous resort - the crown jewel of Poipu.
The architecture and gardens are magnificent. They really capture and transmit the Pacific Paradise feeling.
The gardens and pools are breathtaking and immaculate.
The resort is well located for lots of activities and shopping in Kauai. Several really special restaurants at the resort and nearby.
This is the view looking back up at the main building from the gardens between the main building and Shipwreck Beach.
We stayed busy. We walked a lot. We did not go swimming the these magnificent pools.
The service was attentive and caring. We were greeted with purple leis. When we told the clerk at the reception desk that we were celebrating several special occassions, she produced a nice bottle of chilled champagne and 2 glasses.
Our room was luxurious and a large two sink bathroom area. The bed and seating were very comfortable. The patio was a nice treat with the tradewinds blowing.

Being much more aware of all the hijinks around privacy invasion of the average citizen with electronic media, and businesses employing data mining.
Little Blue Herons begin their lives completely white and are often confused with Snowy Egrets. As they mature, their bluish gray feathers appear. For a while, they have a calico appearance with a mix of blue and white feathers like the one seen here. When fully mature, they will appear dark overall, with yellow-green legs, and a dagger-shaped, slightly drooped blue bill with a black tip. The entire body below the upper neck will become slate blue. A purplish maroon color, boldest in summer, will adorn the head and neck.
KL is really busy - with people coming or going - all the time.
A Monorail whizzes by, above the evening traffic.
This is my experiment with long exposures at night. (Posted without any adjustments)

Cartagena is a Spanish Mediterranean city and naval station in the southeast Iberian Peninsula. This beautiful town was founded about 227 BC by the Carthaginian general Hasdrubal and over time was ruled by the Romans, Vandals, Byzantines and many others.
In October of 2016 my wife and I along with good friends visited parts of Italy, Spain, Portugal and France as part of a western Mediterranean cruise aboard the Celebrity Silhouette.

I have been following this nest for eight years and this is the first time they have arrived and mated in March!!! It's usually mid April when they arrive, start building and then begin mating!
US Route 2 (left) and I-89 in Vermont's Green Mountains.
It's a weird feeling to be driving away from me on Route 2 with cars whizzing by on both sides.
Working on Cooper's recall. A good recall is one of the most important training aspect one should master with their dog. It could save their life. On a separate note, I'm all caught up on my 365 postings from being away on business. Only 35 to go!

A tug coming back into Esbjerg harbour through the ice. I had the camera set up on a tripod pointing the other way, so this was a bit of a surprise shot: trying to open the aperture, crank up the ISO and focus while turning...
The last train of the day passes the Red Caboose Motel on its way back to East Strasburg. It's been another busy day for the railroad.
