Bokeh balls pumped up into a pop-art style... Fun!
I blew the dust off my 35mm f/1.8G lens that I hadn't used in ages, went out into the snowy winter night, and captured some out of focus images of Christmas lights on the evergreen bushes.
This is the colorful result. Enjoy :)

Conwy Castle and The Tubular Railway Bridge,
over Afon Conwy, North Wales.
Built by Robert Stephenson between 1846 and 1850.
This carries the North Wales Coast railway line across Afon Conwy
between Llandudno Junction and the town of Conwy.
Conwy bridge has been reinforced by extra columns under the bridge into the river but is otherwise virtually unchanged since it was built.
A wee Christmas wish to everyone, and, if you are not "Christmas" , Happy holidays and a happy, safe
Healthy New Year to all.
Macro Monday. HMM. this week's theme: bokeh. I used a garland of miniature Christmas parcels. Looks kinda festive.
My tradition is to buy at least one Christmas decoration per year. I’ve got decorations that are decades old and no room for them all. I rotate them, it’s only fair.

Had fun with these Glossy Ibis. But always remember, Jesus is the reason for the season! Happy Birthday, Jesus!
For a particular couple, Christmas is a very exhausting outdoor pursuit. Since November, their front garden had and still has an exuberant selection of Christmas memorabilia on show. After so much work, does the show not deserve to be continued for a while? Shot taken with a mirror reflex lens on tripod.

Here is a picture of our 9 month old cat I took during Christmas vacation. He is developing into a big cat.
This is one of my Christmas tree decorations, a gift from a colleague who visited Australia some years ago although she may have bought it in Hawaii on her way home.
Friends & family think our tree decorations are quite naff but we love them as they are what we have bought on our travels or received as gifts.
This one reminded me of a Flickr friend who spends many of his hours in a canoe on Horsepen Bayou in Texas. He's having a hard time at the moment so I hope this brings a smile to his face.
Capture of this old ceramic tree that I inherited from my Dad's mom, which was a gift from a great aunt a long time ago. Always nice to have this back out and on display for the holidays.
Centered it here in a dark room on a black table.
Looks more and more likely. Rain and brown and slop lately. Gross. This shot is from last weekend...
Oh yea, and haven't seen the sun in like 2 weeks now...
"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!". All of our decorations are up as we inch closer to Christmas! I bought a pack of these red bulbs back in my college days for my small tree in my dorm room, I still have them to this day and hang them every year!
The weekend before last my parents and I drove to a place in the neighboring town which is full of christmas roses. Unfortunately I felt pretty bad because I was at a party the day before, but nevertheless I took some pictures of these wonderful flowers, where I really like this one due to the nice bokeh which seems to cover the flower. Hope you like it!
PETER: (riding a tricycle)
Hi Oleg!
OLEG: (sits relaxed on the sofa)
Oh...Hello Peter!
Huh...why are you on a tricycle when you have a bicycle?
And.... what's hanging behind the tricycle...it makes quite a noise.
PETER:
Christmas baubles
OLEG: (indignantly)
Christmas baubles?
PETER:
I don't think the Christmas tree looks festive yet. It needs more coloured baubles .
That's why I borrowed the tricycle from Big Sister Maileg to transport the baubles. I hung them behind the tricycle so I can pull them
It's easier than with my bike.
OLEG:
I think the Christmas tree looks nice enough.
But if you think there should be more coloured baubles then you should.
I wonder how the balls get to the tree. In pieces I'm afraid
PETER:
You're acting weird again Oleg.
