LHD on Polish plates. First time I've seen one in the flesh, looked a bit overbodied as the wheels appeared too small.

My favourite shape Camry, model code... *goes to check Wiki*... XV20 (1996-2002). Spotted on my walk home from work. I might try and get a better picture if it's there next time I pass on foot but I doubt I can get the reg plate from the other side of that fence.

Looks like the 2.2i GL spec.

Welly Toyota Camry which is suitably realistic and well cast as you'd expect from them. Part of a Premier Portfolio Taxis Of The World four vehicle set currently available at Home Bargains. Mint and boxed.

Not a recent shot but this is still going strong with a fairly recent MOT pass, showing 94k.

I finally managed to take some decent photos of his rather battered US-spec Camry, I photographed it while it was being driven back in April.

My mom's car was being serviced Thursday because the 4wd wasn't working. So she had this snazzy loaner car, a 2007 red Toyota Camry. It was pretty nice for being the low-end LE model. I wouldn't mind owning it. the colour doesn't bother me because of my old-lady driving habits.

see, it's a camry.

says right there...

"camry"

yup.

This car belongs to my friend. Unfortunately, the 2.0 engine broke down and there are no spare parts...

Well, on the track in this instance, but I successfully made it to work and back in it today after getting the MoT sorted last week, putting it onto my classic insurance policy and getting it taxed.

Very smooth, temperature gauge sat where it should, went well. Something's a little noisier than it ought to be under the bonnet though, hope it's not the water pump after the cam belt has been changed in the relatively recent past. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on that and just get some miles under it before I consider spending anything else.

Likely I'll be selling it on when I get an estate sorted, but in the meantime it'll provide a bit of fun.

Kyle Busch M&M sponsored Camry at the Chicago Auto Show

As ever at such an event, it's always worth sneaking into the public car park to see what's about. Local-ish plates on this Camry, but wheels non-standard. Not perfect, but has recently been taxed for a full year so someone obviously intends hanging onto it for a while yet.

Facelift more evident in the revised rear lights. I prefer the skinnier early ones.

Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor from a 1993 Toyota Camry (wagon).

Generally, in discussions about how to clean an MAF, people always say "spray the two wires" (usually) that are the MAF's actual "sensor" area.

In most the pictures I can find online, however, those wires, or wire, are exposed, allowing you to spray them with MAF cleaner.

My MAF, however, appears to have the sensor part in this plastic enclosure, making it impossible to get to without tearing the whole MAF body apart, and the area I'd have to take apart is sealed with some sort of sealant, not screws, so I can't imagine getting it back together again.

And it _looks_ dirty in there, doesn't it?

I have half a mind to poke a hole at the end of the plastic enclosure and squirt the MAF cleaner spray in there that way.

Anyone have suggestions? Please not I have never fixed cars before the trouble I'm having currently: Vehicle starts no problem but stalls when idling after engine is hot, and problem is worse when air is humid (rain, snow).

Yesterday my brother lost control of his 2001 Toyota Camry (unrelated to current events regarding Toyota) and rolled it and in the process took out a power pole. Luckily he was wearing his seatbelt and walked away with only minor bumps and bruises.

My 1999 Toyota Camry XLE V6

After 16 memorable years and 87,000 miles, she's finally going away. When I first got her in April 1999, I swore she had a face prettier than any of my Hollywood crushes combined. She also served as my bed, my lunchroom, my office and my traveling companion. She was my ultimate home away from home. I will never forget those long trips we had together to San Francisco, Sacramento and Las Vegas, including that mountainous, winding excursion to Coe State Park and the poppy fields in Antelope Valley. That hour-long commute from Silverlake to Culver City.

She rivaled my sister's 1996 Honda Accord, which was stolen then recovered twice in the streets of Oakland.

She was once America's favorite car during her heyday...only to be the car most likely to end up in junkyards across the country : (

My sons new (used) '97 Toyota Camry

Found this at a local garage, I'm making inquiries about it...

Suffered head gasket failure, also got a split radiator and dodgy auto transmission. If it wasn't for the latter I'd be asking how much it was with the HG repaired, but as it is I think it might be better if the engine went for an MR2 conversion and I'll buy the rest off them. I need some tyres if nothing else, and I feel one of these will be in my future at some point soon - my 2011 ambition is to buy a V6 while they're still cropping up in half-decent condition.

I wish I had the skills to do things myself - I wonder if this could be converted to manual using the 'box out of my dead estate? This engine seems to bolt into lots of other Toyotas, according to Woodsport's website, and I think they had manual V6's in America?

Compare and contrast with my 2.2 Sport. This V6 was very tidy.
