pretty buttons from my stash

I have visited, for a first time, a local store with fabrics for quiliting. I could not resist to buy some samples. In my opinion they are too expensiv but are also too beautiful not to buy them! Buttons you can mix as you wish because they are sold on weight.

My second fairy made her way to the Netherlands! I used mostly vintage buttons for this one as well.

Christine, I have found out where all of Germany's buttons go prior to the new year: This Brussels Tree Decoration. These are all over the city, not all with buttons, but still you can see where something of this nature would require Germany's buttons, too.

Well, I've got buttons, lots of buttons.

 

I got these from the same apartment that I was treasure hunting in a while ago. I am so lucky to suddenly just get these things. The first thing I did was (of course) to pour the entire contents of the box all over the floor to look at every single button.

 

Although I do not really know what I'm going to use the buttons for, I'm pretty sure there will be no problem to get god used them. It's always nice to have some extra lying around. Especially when it is large amounts of beautiful vintage buttons .

Buttons, a two year old buck taking apple from my wifes hand. A few minutes earlier, he was eating out of a bucket in my wifes hand while she scratched his head with the other hand. He seemed to enjoy that.

The set in the middle resemble boot buttons but are too big, I think. Maybe for a jacket with rows of buttons?

What shall I do with all my buttons, I have so many an they are very beautiful..... I love them!
