Well, I've got buttons, lots of buttons.
I got these from the same apartment that I was treasure hunting in a while ago. I am so lucky to suddenly just get these things. The first thing I did was (of course) to pour the entire contents of the box all over the floor to look at every single button.
Although I do not really know what I'm going to use the buttons for, I'm pretty sure there will be no problem to get god used them. It's always nice to have some extra lying around. Especially when it is large amounts of beautiful vintage buttons .
We went to Annie's Annuals for more wonderful drought tolerant plants and as I was paying, I noticed these on the counter...for free! Awesome! The plants are great, too!
This was my first time seeing these. The good folks over at iNaturalist have verified the AI’s suggestion of Yellow Earth Buttons (Phaeohelotium baileyanum). Such adorable little fungi! [Lower Blue Mountains, NSW]
December 17: Khadijah was wearing these buttons--of Eudora Welty and Humphrey Bogart--and I liked them, and the texture of her coat, and that little flash of red at the upper left. So this is my photo for the day (out of focus, yes, but who cares?): to creativity, innovation, charm, the life force.
i ordered some buttons from etsy seller Buttonsgalore... i needed three large buttons for my sasha gaiter, but how could i resist these others? and you know, maybe the ones i got for sasha wouldn't be quite right... it's good to have options... right? ;)

Buttons (1987 Twice As Fancy Ponies)
Another beautiful pony. The very ends of her hair have a tiny bit of frizz, but she also still has some of her original curl. Het symbols and eyes all look great. She has one faint line on her face, near her blush, and one faint pink mark on her leg near her foot. Other than these tiny flaws her only problem is standing upright; she tends to fall over.
Thank you La Mirada Relay for Life for making buttons of our racers! Contact LM Relay for Life for your button!
There was so much more, but I didn't photograph it all because there were so many hands grabbing them.
