After a day of heavy rain and very little sun.
Just another in my ongoing series of serene shots, if the tagbot is any judge.
Also, the tagbot identifies this as an animal. A one-legged animal with blue fur.

There were many of these growing in the yard during the summer. I think they're so pretty...as almost all flowers.

You should really, really watch this Large On Black since that brings out more details. My pictures aren't balanced for a white background and a lot of the finer details are lost in this small format. the large version is a sixth of the original - The medium size shown here even smaller...

Usei:
Passei 2 camadas. O brilho dele tb é bom, o suficiente pra que eu dispensasse o uso do top coat. Mas foi nessa que eu me ferrei. Porque a secagem dele é lenta. Lentaaaaa.

I took this photo back in June and overlooked it. It's really a great representation of Blue-eyed Grass. This is one of Wisconsin's native plants. I got it at a local garden center and planted it along my bog. I've collected a ton of seeds from it, which I'll be scattering in my native garden this fall. The blooming period is mostly over now, but I'm impressed that it lasted two full months. As I mentioned in a previous photo, this small blue flower is actually in the Iris family.
