This is probably the largest model of an iron crystal I’ve ever seen! Magnified 165 billion times, 102 m high and built for the Expo 58 in Brussels.

The Eryngiums took awhile but its turning into beautiful Sapphire blue.
Those brown nibs are from our Pine tree above.
Throwback Thursday, I haven't uploaded any blue hour photos recently, Iceland and rural northeastern North America do not offer many opportunities in that genre.

For Macro Monday ....... Theme Time
I was lost for an idea,so I thought I would try something completely different and add a bit of colour and go abstract ...... Still, nothing ventured ,nothing gained ,as they say ....
Anemone blanda taken in my garden. These hardy little flowers put up with whatever the weather throws at them but they will only open in the sun.

The lake color under the blue sky in the late afternoon lighting was amazing to see.

My blue Marguerite 'felicia amelloides' daisies, happily absorbing the northern sun here at Cherrybrook in northern Sydney. They are from the 'Plants Plus' nursery and garden centre, in the Cumberland Forest, at West Pennant Hills.
