The mud-apple tree next to my balcony is too tempting for birds by the day and bats at night !

the atmosphere here his cold, but not cold in a negative way.

when i look at this shot, it seems to be taken at the morning,i´m not sure.

Now the young one at the back is gone and an adult has landed, the adults have the namesake feature while the younger ones have yellow or green faces instead.

Woke up this morning, saw lots of sunlight (Haven't seen any for 6 days!)....thought I would head out to Kensington but by the time I got dressed it was very overcast so I stayed home and shot from my back deck!!

Second photo of the dance floor, when the lights turned sea blue.

With all of the snow we have up here I've been wondering what it would be like to make some images of birds from above with the snow as the background. Yesterday we had some time when the sun kept going in and out and this was shot at a fairly bright moment.

to the waves you and me

living in the ocean so blue,

we belong to the sea

The Blue Riverdamsel is a common species damselflies in the Coenagrionidae family. It is also known as the Blue Sprite.

They grow to 38mm in length. This species can easily be found near running water or still water. They usually rest on the plants either in the middle of ponds or at the water edges. In a sunny winter day, this damselfly may be the only damselfly still flying over the water, even though a few of them can be seen. In the summer, a large number of Blue Riverdamsels are competing for a good perching position with other damselflies. The male of this damselfly is brightly blue in colour with black pattern on his abdomen. Its head, face, and eyes are also blue. Pseudagrion microcephalum looks similar to the the Common Bluetail and the Eastern Billabongfly. The female is blue-grey to grey-green in colour.
