From my stock of vintage printer's blocks. I just love the detail on this block. I hope to see it inked soon.

I've had these wood blocks sitting around for months. I finally got around to printing on them.

Orion, almost 14 months. Love of all my lives.

The WC SW1500 makes motorists angry, but makes me happy with a decent shot.

...my first "scrappy" block, with 5 different prints for the center cross. i think i really like only having 2 different prints (one main, for the 4 points and one center) for the center cross.

A stranger is parked in my driveway. I stop and honk to get her attention. She looks at me and goes back to playing with her phone. Meanwhile, traffic is backing up behind me. Eventually she starts her car and pulls forward a little but then stops again and looks at me. Eventually she pulls forward a little, then stops again to put her seat belt on. Finally she leaves but she did return later.

The arcade which was erected between 1891 and 1893 was designed by architect David C. Askew whose brief was to produce something similar to the Galleria Vittoria in Milan. - Block Arcade - Wikipedia

I enjoyed making these blocks! The colors were so appealing and I had a great mixer to go with Michelle's wonderful colors. And, both of these stars from Quilters Cache were new to me. That is always fun! :)

The mid-day Block Island Ferry leaves Galilee, RI as a low pressure system moves in from the west. The approaching storm will make for rough passage, but it also provided this great light.

Block 10 was a cellblock at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp where women and men were used as experimental subjects for German doctors. The experiments in Block 10 ranged from skin testing for reaction to relatively gentle substances to giving phenol injections to the heart for immediate dissection.

Block 4 of the 12 mannequin designs done!

My favourite block so far because of the beautiful 3D lace motif at the bottom which a friend bought for me in an antique textile shop in England. I'll think of her whenever I see it.

Quilt Block made for me as part of the Vintage Sheet Freedom Bee.

Can't wait to see what they all like together!

On my first trip to Lier Mental Hospital earlier in June we broke into the abandoned A-Block. It was a powerful and exciting experience walking around in the old and worn-down building at night time.

After some more research (thanks to Maríon for useful information) we figured out that there were two more buildings that are abounded and waiting to be explored.

Late in June at five o'clock in the morning we arrived in front of Block-B. At first sight the building looks similar to the A-Block, but inside it's a bit different with a bigger basement, and it's altso here the isolation block is located.

Thanks to Ansgar Valbø for joining me on the trip and giving med great advice during the shoot/processing and to tbanken for letting me use his Canon 5D Mark II and the lenses

EF 50mm f1,2 and EF 16-35mm f/2,8.

Block for the love circle of the do. good stitches bee. I really like the blocks with overlapping circles that other folks made, but was more drawn to a design where they were all separate for mine.
