A block of granite is cut into slices by a primary saw. These are then cut by the secondary saw with the profiles for the water channels

Introducing the 2 blocks I sewed for John for the Sew Connected 2 swap. His houses/buildings around the neighbourhood theme got me thinking about what else you'd find in the "neighbourhood". Can you guess what the big block is?

All five blocks so far! I think they look great together! I can't wait for Thursday to come!

I'm doing an Intro to DSLR photograpy short course. We are doing Panoramas at the moment. This was the first attempt. Has quite a bit of blurring due to a longer exposure time. It is also quite dull.
