I just finished knitting Christa Giles' Tilted Hat pattern. After soaking it, it's blocking over a dinner plate.
I took a photo of this building being demolished a year ago, when I thought it was being dismantled from the bottom up. However, as you can see from this photo, it is alot shorter today!
We were waiting on our pizza and the farmer asked us to stand in the road to block the sheep and cows from going out towards the actual paved road as he directed them into the farm.
I made this block to experiment with it as I have made 4 in all different color ways. To go with the Nubees blocks I received for August.

This log structure was built a century ago high atop a stabilized dune at Michigan's Muskegan State Park, then was rebuilt after it was burned in 1964. It offers views of the park's many woodland dunes and of Lake Michigan, so 200 feet below.
My guess is this is the site of many late night adventures for Muskegan high school kids.

Welcome Week ends with a bang at UL Lafayette's annual Block Party. Held at the corner of St. Mary and Rex, students are treated to free food, music, t-shirts and other fun, while celebrating life as a Ragin' Cajun.
Practice block. Still working on the wonky part.
eta: Labeled practice block because it doesn't include any of the fabric Kyra sent. The blue is close (hers is pictured above block). I will still send it.
