after having a mistake and not noticing it until i already had bound off for the sleeves, i had to rip it all and knit it up again.
but now the main part is blocked. can only take years to finish the rest.

People have asked about this block, so I made this collage. The first quilt top I made with this block was the one in the top row, second from the right. The design is from the book, "Loose Change" by Claudia Plett and LeAnn Weaver. I made severa tops using the block in that way and then started changing it around. The general idea is a rectangle sashed on two sides to form a square and then set in opposite directions. Some of these have the rectangle formed with six stacked squares, one of them has a large square and three small squares to form the rectangle and then the two made with bits and pieces to form the rectangle. The one second from the left in the top row is solid rectangles with an uneven stripe for the sashings. If you right click on the mosaic and view the picture in Large, you can see the different blocks.
last night the members of our MQG each made a block (or two) for a charity quilt. This is one of my contributions.

Ahhh... shouldn't have started this at night when I was tired - the middle square of yellow polka dots was sewn in facing down... grrr.... And not sure I like the green fabric

The All American Boy Band is back at it again, winning the hearts of young and old, the New Kids On The Block bring thier new tour named the "Mix Tape Tour" to the city of Brotherly Love. Fans poured into the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on a Wednesday night, eager to hear NKOB, Rick Ashley, Salt N Pepper, and En Vouge and the songs that made them famous during the late 1980's. Unlike conventional concerts, NKOB found a way to keep thousands on their feet and going crazy for almost 3 hours non stop.
