I have spring fever. There is no cure. I must simply wait for it to pass. I'm currently experiencing an itch to get my hands in soil, the need to pick out seeds to plant, and everything I work on happens to have soft colors. I'm sure I'm not the only one with spring fever this time of year, am I? :)
Drunkard's Path for curves class turned pretty garden stones (its the fever I tell ya). The block finished out at 18" sq. and I like it best on the tilt. It reminds me of a stone pattern for a garden path but if you happen to know what it is really suppose to be called please do tell. I have yet to decide how many more blocks to do. Should I do three more for a baby quilt or go ahead and make enough for a throw. Hmmmm, I'll keep you posted.

Attention, owner of yellow moped: If you live in the building with the black Vitrolite facade and the two-story glass block window on each side--and you KNOW how cool this building and that moped are--then I think it is safe to say that you are, in fact, the coolest person in Fredericktown. Rock on.
The stable block houses the boiler and is therefore the first building to get connected - lucky for Emma, Pete, Robin and Tomas! Here is Pete, connecting the radiators (and a good job that you can't see the swearing!)
The South Block houses the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of External Affairs.
The sunset at Café del Mar on Ibiza is stunning. These appartments (100 m. from Café del Mar) that don't have a sea view are less stunning! They really can use a lick of paint.
Is it any wonder that a geometer loves quilt blocks? These blocks were all pieced by hand and measure 12 inches square plus a seam allowance.
8" pictorial theme blocks related to the state or area where each quilter lives. Flowers, birds, veggies, seashells, scenic views, historic icons, and more! All pieced on antique/ vintage working treadle or hand-crank sewing machines.
I pieced my exchange blocks together using my 1880's Wheeler & Wilson hand-crank sewing machine. I plan on hand-quilting a simple spiderweb design in each "Window".

due to flooding. They rerouted the traffic down our quiet little street. Kind of funny watching people deal with one-car-at-a-time bridges on our street.
