I participate in a weekly Scripture Challenge which can be found here:
www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=408822
Each week we are given a keyword and are challenged to look up verses that contain the word, or some form of it.
This week I used one of my favorite paper lines - Basic Grey Urban Prairie...so colorful and yummy. It makes me feel happy all over!
Greta's Scramble challenge was to create a project using a supply that is not typically used for paper crafts. I used floral wire for my non-traditional card making supply.
supplies - Hero Arts Gratitude background (CG644), Hero Arts Poppy (H5904), Hero Arts Many Birthday Messages (CL611), BasicGrey Highline paper pad, Spellbinders Label die, and Floral Wire.
I simply cannot get enough of this Hydrangia stamp!!! The music was stamped with Pumis Stone D.I. Butterflies are an old Stamp in the Hand stamp. Postmarks are from the HA Manuscript stamp. TFL!
(Forgot to photograph the belt!)
Dress for my dear Amy. She chose the print (Basic Grey's Max & Whiskers for Moda) and the pattern (Burdastyle Theresa) herself! And yes, I am confident she will be able to fit into this.
A friend wanted a few cards made up simular to the ones I have already made. So this is what I came up with. As I have trouble doing the same card twice. TFL
Another version of my eariler canvas for BasicGrey, this time using their double sided scrapbooking cardstock line called Picadilly.
blogged duringquiettime.blogspot.com/2011/10/picadilly-by-basicgr...
I made this card today for my sister, it's a long overdue thank you note. Thanks for looking!
Hero Arts Supplies: Hero Arts Painted Flower (K5767), Hero Arts Big Tag (K5661), Hero Arts Circle Doily (CG168), and Hero Arts Very Special (CG406)
Other Supplies: Basicgrey Kneehighs patterned paper, VersaMark Ink, white embossing powder, Ranger Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar), and Ranger Distress Markers (on leaves).
I made three similar, but slightly different, Easter cards. I stenciled the kraft card bases with HA white pigment ink and then stenciled pieces of dotted vellum with different colors of distress ink. I stamped and cut banners, fussy cut flower bouquets from patterned paper, and added punched, glitter butterflies.
I am entering my cards in Virginia's View Challenge Stenciling, the current Styling with Stencils Challenge at Moxie Fab World and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Happy Easter. Thanks for looking.
Supplies: Hero Arts Large Lotus Pattern Stencil (SA001), Hero Arts Sunshine (CL734), BasicGrey Fresh Cut patterned paper, Hero Arts White pigment ink, Ranger Distress Ink and Neenah vellum.
I signed up for the She Art class and it seems to be crossing into my Whimsy Winter Angel. I feel happy about this canvas because she reminds me of my beautiful Mom, who is an Angel now, too. So, I hope you like her. (Papers are Basic Grey, stamps by Inkadinkadoo and Hero Arts, rub-ons are Fancy Pants, tissue tape by Tim Holtz.)
Hero Arts April 2013 Just for Her and Sketch Challenge

View of the box open with cards inside.
An elegant Origami folded box I made using a new Hero Arts quatro stamp set. I used only the inside part of the stamps so they are small and I think that they qualify for this week's HA "little stamps" challenge. My cards inside the box are 4" x 4".
I used the beautiful new Basic Grey Porcelain paper. On the cover I used the small butterfly from one of the 4 stamps and the large butterfly. Love those butterflies. I covered the large one with Diamond Stickles. I did not stamp any sentiment on the card, because I want to add it when I know what I need : Thank you or For you or Happy Birthday....

This card was inspired by this weeks CardPatterns design. 4.bp.blogspot.com/_VCdzh29cmaU/Sbssh3cPLdI/AAAAAAAABUI/Gh...
The birds' nest is a paper flower folded in half.
I thought I would resubmit this card for the Distress challenge this week. TFL
The flower is on the left side, because the card was sent in Hebrew, and that's where the card opens.
Hello everyone!
Today I’m sharing a card that I love a lot… I love this dark rich brown and this tone of blue to go with. I must say that the star of the show here are again my favorite and versatile papers. Every time I peruse those papers I find something perfect to go with whatever I’m doing at the time :). For this card I created a really busy and involving study/research work environment… of course coffee had to be present in such place. I water colored the mug “inside and outside” with Distress markers and gold Ecoline respectively. To give the idea of transparent glass I removed some of the previous water coloring and added just a little bit of very diluted white Ecoline; also used a white gel pen to accent the border of the mug. The pattern paper in the bg is from an invitation to my sister’s school anniversary that I kept for “just” nine years, because it's beautiful… and also because I knew I would use it some day :).
I’m entering three challenges:
The Paper Players #218 - use silver or gold - introduced by Deepti (Dee’s Art Utopia), thank you again, Deepti - thepaperplayers.blogspot.pt/2014/10/paper-players-218-san....

And SSS Flickr Challenge #4.
Supplies:
Stamps: SSS - What’s Brewing?
Dies: WPlus9 - Seasonal Sentiments.
Coloring: VersaMark; HA white EP; Distress Inks - gathered twigs; Distress Markers; VersaMagic - wheat; Royal Talens Ecoline - gold, white.
Others: Brown cardstock; Watercolor paper; BasicGrey "Grand Bazaar" 6”x6” paper pad; MME "Now and Then Mildred" 6”x6” paper pad; October Afternoon "Public Library" 8”x4” pattern paper and stickers; Simple Stories “Daily Grind” 3”x4” Journaling Card Elements.

A Quilt I designed that is featured in the November/December 2010 issue of McCall’s Quilting
I thought that I would share the card that I made for Barb to thank her for the amazing prize that she sent me after her scramble several weeks ago. The patterned paper was part of the prize! :)
I used an older Hero Arts stamp, but the stamp is a new addition to my collection. Thanks for looking!
Supplies: Hero Arts CardArt Decorative Birds (K4892), Hero Arts Classic Messages (CL414), Hero Arts Thinking of You (CL140), BasicGrey Kneehighs patterned paper, and Ranger Distress Markers.
I completely copied a card Jennifer McGuire featured on her blog awhile back. Just thought I'd get that out in the open first. :)
The flourish stamp is BasicGrey. Flowers are Hero Arts and Prima. I inked them up with Distress Inks and sprayed them with Perfect Pearls mixed with water (a la Jennifer McGuire!).
Buttons are BasicGrey. Cardstock is Bazzill.
Thanks for looking!
I found some poinsettias in this beautiful flower pattern stamp!
Well, at least it looked like poinsettia to me. :)
To make the poinsettias, I stamped flower pattern on red patterned paper ( it's from EchoPark Season's greetings 6x6 ) using VersaMark ink, then I heated it up using clear embossing powder.
After cutting out those flowers I added some red gemstones and pearl to the center area.
*Supply list*

-S5507 Envelope Pattern /// Coffee bean dye ink
-S4878 Old Letter Writing /// Color box Frost White Pigment ink
