Once you can feel the greatness

of little things inside yourself,

you will feel the littleness of great things outside yourself.

The Bandstand lies quite near to where the Halfpenny Bridge used to span the Valley Gardens - long since demolished - and Huntcliff can be seen in the distance - the other side of the Valley

I fiori spruzzati

di colore alle fontane

occhieggeranno come

donne divertite: Le scale

le terrazze le rondini

canteranno nel sole.

For some artistic photos I make collages.

This is a collage.

Art woman's face has always been fascinating, both at the time of Impressionism and beyond.

Winter is over now, you can already see the first flowers, everything changes with the spring, it feels like a certain desire to open the windows, to feel the scent of flowers ... of renovation!

And so a little poem:

It will be a clear face.

Shall be opened in the streets

the hills of pines

and stone ....

sprayed flowers

of colours color to fountains

peep out as

Kenyan women: The stairs

the terraces the swallows

They sing in the sun.

Winter is the time for cutting back and maintaining the woodland, a time for smoky bonfires.

The sky looked promising for another sweet sunset, but I couldn't make up my mind about where to go try for a shot. Well, I jumped in the truck and started driving towards the river, just hoping that I would run across an unknown spot. I ended up on Old Hwy 61, headed for Baton Rouge, feeling like I was wasting my time (the sunset turned out to be pretty much of a flop), when I spotted this abandoned little house sitting just off the road. "OK", I thought..."This is what I was supposed to find."

I complimented Babyruthinmd's ability to find the coolest old places based on her photo below:

I then realized that I had photographed the same place...my memory is going :)

Today was a day of not much light and lots of bare trees :)

A closer look here.

Love the twisty gnarled shapes the trees along this little stream have developed over the years.

Just a pretty tree in a field

Our Boxing Day jaunt included a walk around Langford Lakes. There weren't many birds around ... a few cormorants and loads of Canada geese. But there were lots of lovely bare trees and some nice reflections.
