Reflections of early spring in Cape Porpoise

The birds they sang

at the break of day

Start again

I heard them say

Don't dwell on what

has passed away

or what is yet to be...

Ring the bells that still can ring

Forget your perfect offering

There is a crack in everything

That's how the light gets in.

Even the breeze was blue and peaceful. Birds were eager to play in the cover of night. I'm trying out the monopod to get a little control over the blur

Foggy morning

Santa Clara, California

Remember to look up from time to time.

A row of dead trees or at least suffering from the drought this summer. I presume they're dead because other trees are still in leaf, and these trees have been bare for two weeks, which was when I first noticed them.
