The Apex-Class APC is one of the few ground vehicles to be developed by the Dawn Forge. While mainly specializing in various forms of mech, they occasionally need a vehicle that is faster, tougher, and more reliable than a two legger. That is where this six wheeler comes into play. At approximately 4.5 tons, the Apex-Class APC, more commonly referred to as the Hippo- because of its massive size, can take quite the beating thanks to its 5 inch solid polymer/Kevlar/steel alloy. However, though it is indeed quite heavy, it can also maintain constant speeds at up to 60 MPH. While its intended uses are quite clear, get troops in and out of battle, the Hippo can also be used for wide scale assaults, towing mechs out of battle, and perusing enemy vehicles.

"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself." - Declaration of Arbroath, 1320.
