The back view! I just followed the photos supplied as best I could - hubby tells me that black 'springy' thing is part of the shock absorber! LOL! I really loved her hairstyle! :-) I was given a photo from the bride's trial hairdresser appt.
I owe VERY special thanks to the hugely lovely Jo (The-icing_on_the-cake) for sharing her expert advice on my bride - thank you from the bottom of my heart Jo!
I had a big break from flickr and everything involving typing (thanks to my contusion in my hand) but I lost my patience yesterday and ripped that bandage off - feels sooooooo good ^^
I can't work - I can't type with one hand and I can't write mails ... so off you go nasty bandage ^^
it was funny - I had a big dolly break - focusing more on (japanese) art and archaeology ... just beacause I had only one hand to use ... funny thing!
anway: missed you all and I know - I have lots to catch up with ^^
Those of you who either know me well, or have known me for a long time, know that I went to Arizona State University many, many years ago. Well, to quote George Costanza, I'm back baby. I recently signed up for their online BFA in digital photography, and just turned in part of my first week's assignment (a photo shoot of stuff involving water). I'll probably finish this just in time for retirement but, as one of the kids pointed out, it's at least one degree we don't yet have in our family.
HBM!!! Explore !! 8/3/09 #387 Thank you, so much!!
Back from vacation. This was taken at the Delaware State park. You can tell a snowy Egret by their golden slippers, I was told. I really don't know much about birds but I enjoy seeing them on Flickr. I'm trying to learn to photograph them, but they are not too easy. It is very exciting when I get one in flight and make out any details. This photo was just a bird against a blue sky, looked pretty good but I thought the texture added a little something that it needed. Texture is from JoeSistah. Thank you to him for his talent and generosity.

and with a new camera. Still learning of course so bare with me. It is the Canon Rebel XSi and I'm thrilled to pieces. This was taken with my dad's macro lens, but I got one too and just haven't started playing with it yet. I will catch up as quickly as I can with your beautiful photos. I have started back to work today so I'll probably start checking back with you all later today! Take care and I missed you all!

So after a couple of new Abellio E40D on the 278 I thought I’d get some more required DEs, in fact they fell into place very nicely indeed.
One was DE1590 which is seen turning into Uxbridge Station/Garage forecourt on the U3, just after I’d alighted.
It was new as First DML44014. 27.1.20.
One of the narrow roads in Mdina, Malta and a helpful warning sign for the cars plying these back streets reminding them of the 5 and half feet width - in case they hadn't realised!
After days of thinking that I am at the Baltic Sea the North Sea has reported back to work... waves and high water line are back.
Wieder im Dienst
Nach Tagen, an denen wir dachten, dass wir an der Ostseeküste wären, hat sich die Nordsee zurück zum Dienst gemeldet. Wellen und normale Fluthöhe sind zurück.

FRAMES TO MY MUSIC VIDEO: COME BACK SPARKIN
WATCH IT HERE:
COME BACK SPARKIN is the title of this song and its music video.
SPARKIN should be spelled SPARKING, but I chose to spell it the way I pronounce it.
This is how I create language.
I grew up in urban environments and slang talk has always been my preferred way of expressing myself.
I always loved the level of creativity that could be applied to a language, and the power slang has in societies.
To COME BACK SPARKIN is to come back from a difficult situation while creating something absolutely beautiful out of it.
It is the act of overcoming an obstacle or obstacles no matter the level of difficulty.
We have the power as SuperHumans to take advantage of every situation.
In this song, I first remind myself, that I am the one who chooses to feel down or up, no one else:
No matter what i go through, it can't get me down
Go ahead, take a shot at me. All you are going to do is fuel the beast. In other words, help me excel to the next level:
I'm a Warrior at heart, kick me down !
See what happens, I COME BACK SPARKIN
Some individuals do a whole lot of talking, but their actions do not match their blah blah blah.
Or they spend most of their time talking, while never truly accomplishing and doing something about what they are talking about:
While you're barkin, I move in action !
Realising that I have no one to talk to and spending my time by myself because no one around me is real enough, or I do not relate to them:
Very lonely, no one to talk to
I gain consciousness of my HumanPower , and I choose to Keep My Head Up as Tupac told us.
Keep My Head Up, as I walk through
Dark tunnels, with no light dude
I then realize who I am: I'm the Light Myself.
This is the path of the Warrior. Check out Warrior of Light by Paolo Coehlo if you don't understand this.
I then invite those that feel the way I do to listen to me because I live it like you, and I am uplifting myself.
So join me, and we can lift ourselves together.
Listen to my music, if you need help
Coz I give you energy
The Power and the Will to overcome your enemy
When I say enemy some may think that I am talking about a person outside of themselves, but I am not:
Which is the ego, your own self
Get deeper into your self. Understand that money is a tool, and not the answer to life:
Money is a distraction
The answer to all is within you:
The True Wealth is the Inner
I am not one of those people who thinks money is evil and who does not want money.
I'm a physical being with 5 physical senses, so I enjoy things money allows me to do.
I want to be clear that this is not an anti-money campaign, it is about understanding its role and purpose in our lives.
I do not claim to have the answers, what I do is invite others to my journey.
I recorded this song 3 years ago, and so, being that I have evolved a lot since, I chose to focus this music video on these lyrics and not the remainder of the song.
They no longer apply to who I am today like they did when I wrote them.
The Art Direction of this music video is a continuation of my project THE REBIRTH in which I created an imaginary world where the unreal becomes real.
The quality of this Music Video is very poor, the camera was old and busted, so this is what it is.
I think it's cool to have the quality this fucked up because it's such a huge contrast to crisp HD imagery.
I love crisp HD quality as well :)
Lyrics:
No matter what i go through, it can't get me down
I'm a Warrior at heart, kick me down !
See what happens, I COME BACK SPARKIN
While you're barkin, I move in action !
I'm on a mission !
Very lonely, no one to talk to
Keep My Head Up, as I walk through
Dark tunnels, with no light dude
Actually, I'm The Light Myself
Listen to my music, if you need help
Coz I give you energy
The Power and the Will to overcome your enemy
Which is the ego, your own self
Money is a distraction
The True Wealth is the Inner
