Continuing this occasional series, it seems that it is still BBC policy that it is not a requirement for caption writers on this programme to be able to spell simple words such as "forecast" and "government".

I just read this morning that BBC is moving from Television Centre, and that large parts of it are being redeveloped. This building, known as the Doughnut, has landmark protection and will not be pulled down. But the rest of the 14-acre campus is likely to be razed and rebuilt. It's not clear how the doughnut will be reused, although BBC is considering housing a couple of "heritage" departments there.
