Loch Fyne at low tide with rock weed (Ascophyllum nodosum), reflections and a resting gull. A great example of a Clyde puffer, Eilean Eisdeal, the fictional Vital Spark, can be seen the dock made famous in the short stories Neil Munro and three BBC TV series. The small flat bottomed boats were a vital supply link around the west coast of Scotland from 1856 to 1939. Inveraray, Scotland.

Finally getting a chance to watch 'The Hour' on BBC America. After a couple episodes I'm hooked! I really hope they are doing a second season...this show is too good to only do one season. I'm kind of obsessed with Dominic West right now after seeing this and 'Appropriate Adult' on Sundance recently. 'The Wire' is next on my list to check out.

The BBC's French language service for Africa says it listens to the continent. At the very least, they have had some very hard-working employees over the years.
