The heat in the Central Line tube (subway) train was oppressive. So we got out at Oxford Circus station. There the parade of tourists added to the crowds of shoppers on the pavements.
Time for a walk along less busy streets. With a detour to see the statue of George Orwell close by. Followed by cold drinks.
