BBC Broadcasting House is located in the centre of Belfast on the north side of Ormeau Avenue at the junction with Bedford Street. It was built in 1939 to the designs of James Millar in Art-Deco style.
My Badger was on the BBC Springwatch Instagram site two years ago, I just found out... I don't do Instagram and only stumbled across this from a link on the BBC Springwatch page. Nice to see It's still getting an airing :@)

A network of lights from cities, viewed from above, at the Melbourne display of the BBC Earth Experience. A gorgeous digital display of photography and film.

An appropriate picture to be uploading on 30th December - even if it was taken on 24 October 1981. A much publicised story given a new airing today for the anniversary date on the BBC News website (London section) which gives an interesting account with film of the driver receiving an award for his quick thinking.
If ever there was a modern bus capable of rapid acceleration to replicate what that RT did, it would definitely be an MD though it`s doubtful that the near crash landing on the other side of the gap would result in as little damage as the RT had........

This statue appeared outside the Beeb (where I work) this week.
I think there may be a new series of a certain programme about to begin. Although I haven't really been much of a fan since the original, true Top Gear, which aired from 1977-2001. Particularly the years with William Woollard at the helm, which I'm sure most people on here are too young to remember!
